NBA 2k12 Online Association Wont Advance Games.

82 Games - Speed is fast.

I waited about 6 Hours but i still have all the same games. I finished nothing advanced. No it says i have to wait 3 More hours. Whats going on ?

Having the same problem. Sometimes it advances 1 game, sometimes none. Does anyone know if there is a chance of adding an NCAA 12 style advance system?

How does it work..?

How long is each setting..
Fast = 12 hrs.?
Medium = 24 hrs.?
Slow = 48 hrs.?

I'm looking to set one up, & wondering what these settings mean.

It only allows you to play games if it lands within 20 days (in the future) of the advance date.

Hey guys, this may or may not be related but we just finished a draft in a private league and our timer is at "0 hrs, 0 min" at all times here at the top right. Does this mean we're fked or is this how it is in private leagues? I don't want to waste a bunch of time playing games if it's not going to advance.

I am trying to figure out this logic as well.

To me, so far, I think it works like this: Any input would be appreciated.

Slow:
24-hour preseason (No games can be played, players can join).
24-hour day 1 (Nov 1st) (two weeks are open-14 days on the calendar) You can play as many games as you have available in any order.
12-hour day 2 (Nov 2nd) All games on Nov 1st will get simmed, Nov 15th will open if you have a game that day..
12-hour day 3 (Nov 3rd) all games on Nov 2nd will get simmed and Nov 16th will open.

Normal:
16-hour preseason
16-hour day 1
8 hour advances after day 1. (This schedule is still lightening fast I think).

Fast

12-hour preseason
12-hour day 1
6-hour advances

My gut is they give you the double time on day 1 to start getting ahead. I can't remember if it was one or two days at that long period, but I think just one. I just started two leagues at seperate speeds just to see how it works.

i think the sim time is made for 82 game seasons.. when the clock reaches 0 on the sim clock it advances a date on schedule.. u have to pay attention to the date of the games they allow u too play..
now in my oa we are playing a little 29 game season .. the clock is not made for this becuz it stills sims a date yet the 29 game season is spread out through a nba season calender. so you may have 3 games a month.. sucks.. they need to fix that..

Wow, that is AWFUL. They made so many HUGE mistakes.

A buddy and I are still going to try and get through it.. Goal is just one season. He is Clippers and I am Thunder, it should be fun. We just did 20 games and we are horrible (rumor as it the difficulty setting vs the CPU is always on hard)?

Anyway, the schedule is a big deal to us. We are going to figure it out though. We were on slow which was nice becasue we were way ahead but then we saw ourselves finishing early and having to wait two weeks, so we are trying normal now (plus we were both 5-13 so we are calling that the preseason).

Can anyone officially give the time periods for how long each speed advances?

Slow?
Normal?
Fast?

We set ours to slow and it's advancing every 6 hours
