    Official Rosters for PC?

    I'm going to Features > 2K Share > Download

Underneath "Official 2K Roster" there's absolutely nothing. A pop-up says "There are no files available at this time. Please check back later."

I can download other rosters, but not any official rosters. Am I doing something wrong?

This is giving me a headache. I can't find the folder where it's saving my games in my username folder. Running Windows 7 64 bit.

Why is something so easy as getting an official roster so damn difficult?

Although... whatever unofficial roster I've managed to download appears to be at least somewhat updated. Metta World Peace is playing... Chris Paul's on the right team... maybe I ought to just be happy with what I've got.

Click on your windows orb, type in "%appdata%". Click on Roaming. From there, 2k Sports->NBA 2k12->Saves.

I downloaded the official rosters from Features > 2K Share > Download, but it doesn't have B. Davis on the Knicks or the rookie on the Magic. Any idea why? I'm completely new at playing 2K games on my PC.

            Ah, brilliant. Thanks.

I guess everyone's in the dark as much as me as to when (or even if?!?) there'll be a patch, eh?

Well I'll be damned. I followed those directions, and there's no NBA 2K12 file in there.

It looks like the right place, too: there's a bunch of other save game folders for other games.

              What the hell.

I started an NBA Today game, and the rosters were correct, those don't save?

How do I get rid of the custom rosters. The rookies look terrible, I'd rather play with the default rosters until 2K releases a official roster update. I cleared everything out of my appdata folder and uninstalled the game twice and they are not clearing out.

Official rosters are out. I just download them manually and put them in my C:\Users\nameofuser\appdata\roaming\2ksports\2k12\ saves folder. 2K share does not work for me when I search for 2K Rosters. Apparently if you reset the roster in game, you can download the latest roster (12/22/11).

Here's a link if you want to do it manually.

For PC, so far manual downloading is the best option since sometimes the 2K servers seems not to be in sync.
Only respectable people deserve respect, you destroyed the game.

                        Re: Official Rosters for PC?

Unfortunately, for many, if not for all, rosters don't seem to update automatically, and the only way to get them to actually update is to not have any Roster file available when the game boots, so the game will be forced to download and save the new Roster.

I've made a tool that "hides" all the Roster files when the game boots, so that way you make sure you'll always get the latest roster. After the game starts, all you have to do is Alt-Tab out of the game and back into the tool, press Enter, and you'll be able to load your custom rosters again if you want.

The tool is really easy. If you're a Steam user you can just download it and replace your current shortcut to the game with the "refresh_roster_and_start_steam.bat", and you're done. If you got the game on DVD or some other DD, just edit the "refresh_roster_and_start.bat" with Notepad and point it to where you've installed the game, and you can now start the game via that file, making sure your roster is updated every time.

So this official roster doesn't have black arm generic rookies does it? It was a huge pain getting rid of that last roster.

Goddammit. I installed the game on my D drive and absolutely can't find my ****ing save folder to replace the rosters.

None of the tools I downloaded work, I can't get the damn rosters from 2K Share, and there's no ******* help (or support, or patches) from the game's makers.

This is the most infuriating game I've ever had the misfortune of buying. Never again.
