have anyone else notice that the progression of players and player ratings suck in this game?/

i think this is pretty cool. SInce i didnt lose a game during preseason most to all my guys got their stats a little boost. Some of my rookies got as high as 4 points added to their overall rating that got them from 48 to 52. Even though one of my star DB got dropped down 4 points is pretty dull. But seen though as Vincent barely had any tips and INT i see why they lowered his stats a bit. Pretty good system to work your rookies but it can also kill some of your stars. IF they really tweek this feature next year it will be awesome.

I just got the game and I am trying to understand the progression. From what I understand....the ratings of players fluctuate during the season depending on how well you are playing?? Or is that just the team rating?
From a players standpoint, is the progression done during the season or at the end of the season or both??

I'm sure age plays a big role too (how can it not?) So even if an "old" guy has a good season, he may not progress. Just stuff to consider.

Adjusting your team's gameplan week-2-week also plays a pretty big role i heard (still haven't figured it out yet tho)
