Why Adrian Peterson Should Be MVP (Biased)

Before I start, I'm getting the pauses out of the way. So let's go.

This year, AP ran for 2052 yards and 22 TDs and the Vikes won the most competitive division in the SFL for the second straight season finishing 12-4 and earning the #2 seed. I think we can all agree this is a passing league, and AP and Houston's HB Arian Foster are the only 2 HB's to rush for 2000 yards each season.

The Vikings are not predicated on only the run game as Christian Ponder finished 6th in pass yardage, and for AP to finish 1st in rushing with an OL that consists of an ovr80 LT, aging 92 LG, 75 C, 77 RG and 84 RT makes it impressive to me. Granted, had LaSean McCoy ran 132 more times to equal the same amount of attempts AP had, there is no doubt in my mind he'd win the rushing title [only needed 284 yards] but that's not the case.

Now realistically, if I had to vote, I'd vote for Matty Ice, 5700+ passing yards is ridiculous, alsi cobsidering the fact Turner had 320 rushing attempts, just 46 short of AP, means he wasn't throwing the ball 50x a game. But 2000 rushing yards and 20 TD's in back to back seasons is impressive as well,

    Need I say Co-MVPs

Dude, there is no need for this...

Especially considering how many of those were gained by the infamous left sticks behind the line of scrimmage. It will be up for vote, no need for lobbying.

And you only got the rushing title because of the long run at the end of the game when you were winning. Let's just say the rushing title fell into your lap.

This award thread is funny. Ryan threw the football 28 times a game. AP ran for a million yards... but AP probably won't win MVP... or Offensive Player of the year... but.... the best RB in history is Noel Divine lmfao

Yeahhhh... But I actually played 16 users this season. No CPU games where rushing for 175 yards can be done by halftime.

I think it's safe to say AP and Foster have a "little rivalry" lol.
