    I need ehlp with connecting my cord from my controller into my ps3

    Ok so I have 2 contollers and there both almost down to nothing with power. almost no bars. but when i try to connect the cord from my ps3 controller to the ps3 it wont connect and start charging. nd wont charger at all. what should i do

    I dunno, it sounds like it could be one of 3 things.

    1. The USB ports on the PS3 are dead
    2. The cable connecting the controller to the PS3 is damaged (do you have just one or more than 1)
    3. The port in the DS3 controller where the cable connects is dead.

    My best guess would be the cable is damaged in which case you simply need to buy a new cable. I think I remember reading somewhere on these forums that you can actually charge your PS3 controller by plugging it into a USB port on your PC, though I can't confirm this.

      PS3 has to be on to charge controllers.

      Any powered USB port will charge the controller.
