Speaking of Winter Classic jersey's, if there was a poll for which team has the coolest looking WC jersey's, my vote would go to the Pens. Not just being a homer, but seriously, the pens WC jersey is hard to beat. The Rangers aren't too bad, but the Flyers are just aweful. The only other team to come close would be Chicago. I would say: 1.Pens 2. Hawks 3. Rangers, I couldn't even pick a number 4, maybe Detroit?

Well EA didn't have the Winter Classic until this year anyways, but yeah the Classic Jerseys won't make the game until NHL 13.

08 jerseys were nice. I don't like their 11 jerseys, and the Rangers, because they never actually wore those jerseys in the past.

Sorry I meant the '08 ones. But put the '11 winter classic logo with the bridge on it, and it would be perfection. The dark blue ones aren't bad, but nothing beats the 08 ones.

The orange didn't do it for me, I think if they went with a majority black jersey they might have been better. Just my 2 cents.

Agreed. I'm a sucker for the little things, like the captain's patches on the Flyer's jerseys.

Personal taste, but I really dislike the Penguins' powder blue jersey. The dark blue was better, but just barely.

1. Blackhawks '09 - classic Original 6 look
2. Rangers '12 - Like the choice of "off white"
3. Capitols '11 - nostalgia from childhood playoff runs
4. Red Wings '09 - homer pick here
5. Flyers '12 or Buffalo '08 - is that when they brought the logo back for the first time?

Personal taste, but I really dislike the Penguins' powder blue jersey. The dark blue was better, but just barely.

The Penguins brought back their original jerseys from the late 60's, early 70's. I think you are very much in the minority of people who dislike those jerseys. It's not like they just picked a color and threw it in there. That color has history in the Pens organization, and some history should go into making these WC jersey's imo. I realized I chose the Rangers as the #3, but only because I like that logo compared to the diagonal lettering and the other color choices. No where in history did the rangers use off-white colors.

100% agree there...

I get the historical value of the Penguins jerseys...but I love that Pittsburgh professional sports are Black/Gold(yellow), and just feel like that has more pull than (IMO) a mistake of color choice of the past. And I do realize that I'm in the minority as far as that jersey is concerned.

As for the Rangers, their jerseys haven't changed much over time (other than the Statue of Liberty alternate logo), so there wasn't much "history" for them to pull from. I liked the slightly altered shield logo and the off-white gave a more "old school" feel.

I also liked the Flyers WC jersey. Not a fan of the logo on Boston or the Rangers, I prefer the Rangers jerseys with the name written diagnally and I think it looks really throwback already.

I don't like Pittsburgh's Powder Blue jerseys at all. They were clean looking but its just kind of uninspired and there are about 5 other teams who have an identical jersey with their logo on it.

We're all guilty of being homers but I think kdogpa is basically wearing a penguin suit.
