Love how my man is keepin it real. Don't agree on everything but he is hitting on some good points.
7pm works fine for me.
I tuned in late so I don't want to call in and talk about what may have already been discussed.

The part on Online Association is true. It's been almost 3 months since release, and the 2K website still isn't fully functional.
I have a feeling there's not a sense of urgency at 2K Sports. They should really be looking over their shoulders at EA, especially if it hypes up online features.Comment

I agree Jay. DaCzar hit the nail on the head when he pretty much said people who think 2k12 is a lazy effort are incorrect in that opinion given all the content in this title towards the end of the show. He was also right imo when he said that 2k sometimes tries to do too much and end up overlooking the little things. IMO 2k really needs to pull an EA and take a season off to give themselves more time to polish their product. It's about that time..put 2k13 on the shelf and come back with 2k14.The part on Online Association is true. It's been almost 3 months since release, and the 2K website still isn't fully functional.

Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.Comment

I almost wasted a good drink off that one
NBA 2K has been looking in it's rear-view mirror for years with no EA in site
Where they DO that? ? ?Comment

To be honest Jaysmoove until I see what EA is bringing to the table, I wouldn't fear them either. Lol.The part on Online Association is true. It's been almost 3 months since release, and the 2K website still isn't fully functional.

I think 2k dropped the ball on some features this year but 2k12 is still one of the best sports game on the market. They should come out with 2k13 next year, especially that NBA elite/live 13 has. Are we willing to risk having a good basketball game for a game riddled with bugs and comes for
A studio that has produced subpar NCAA Football and Madden games from the past couple of years.
2k12 is still a great game, some people need to cool it with the pessimismComment

In an ideal world, 2K would release an NBA game every odd year and a NCAA game every even year...with both constantly updated and given proper attention. (Bugs fixed, gameplay flaws patched etc).
For a million different reasons that's never going to happen obviously.
2K12 is still a great basketball game...it's just reality though that the main guys move on to the next game (2K13) about November each year and that means much lower post release 'service' than the supporter base deserve. There's no way the Skyrim guys "move on" within 6 weeks of their game dropping, but that's how it is with sports games.
It's a great game...but it's just reality it's buggy and has a couple of major gampelay flaws...no doubt they'll be addressed when we pay our $60 for 2K13.Comment

Re: Da Czar LIVE talking about the state of NBA 2K12 right now!!!!
I would not say it would never happen CV...It just happend with Elite. For the betterment of their franchise, EA put their product on the shelf in order to reboot and hopefully make a better product. EA I would assume has the same contract with the NBA in regards to releasing a hoops title and we got nothing from them this year or last year. If the NBA's #1 selling title took an extra year to polish would the NBA really have an issue with that? Haven't they already been paid by 2ksports for the rights to use the license anyway? In an ideal world, 2K would release an NBA game every odd year and a NCAA game every even year...with both constantly updated and given proper attention. I'm not saying they permanently switch to being an every other year title but that they take a year to tweak and polish all their gameplay advancements and features so they aren't constantly playing catch up fixing the issues of previous years along with new ones.Last edited by NINJAK2; 01-07-2012, 02:59 PM. Re: Da Czar LIVE talking about the state of NBA 2K12 right now!!!!
Very true, but at the same time, they're opening the door wider and wider for EA to come back in, when last year it looked all but shut. Gamers won't admit to being curious about Live, but if EA drops some info on here, and it's all hyped up, and they come with their pre-Elite graphics, and it looks great, then guys here are gonna be ready to hop on the bandwagon.Comment
