Stop overrating the game people!
I'm tired of hearing about how great 2k12 is. I was just as excited as anyone else was about this game. It looked amazing in all the previews, insights, and trailers. But this game has so many flaws to it. It just seems like everyone gives 2ksports a PASS for some reason. They have yet to fix the online after about how many games, 5,6,7? Just like the launch of 2k11 this game had so many bugs and glitches. You can never make a perfect game but don't give one with so many problems. 2k needs to own up to their mistakes. Another question is why do we wait for roster updates? Aren't they "living rosters"? 2k really needs to fix gameplay. Me and my cousin play all the time against each other and he is always saying he never has "full control" of the player(animations!!!!!). Passing to me is one of the biggest flaws of the game. To easy for opponents to steal it. For all the glitches and bugs we the customers always have to do the workarounds to them. I remember when the game first launched, to not get disconnected in online, don't make any changes to the starting lineup, ridicoulous. 2K just stop making excuses to why the problems are in the games and just FIX em!

Two threads right in a row bashing the game. Could have just posted in the other one lol. Game does have some flaws bit overall I still like it, but I do hope they fix some of these things next year. Passing is one big one for me.Comment

fix online,make shoes to look like actual shoes,fire current insider ; hire more insiders (ratings,rosters,accessories) & improve gameplay,then we can talk business ! voilaComment

OK listen, I usually play 2 games every-so-often to get my money's worth. The gameplay is terrible, and thats an understatement. The delayed response and sluggish controls are enough to shelf this game alone. Yes the response time is better offline, but I don't want to play offline. There is no variety in playing the AI no matter what team you play against. What about passing, what about the excessive stealing? What about the rebounding and the stupid AI teamates (running into traffic when they were wide open prior to the pass being sent)? Where is the pick and roll, the most fundamental and simple play in basketball? I agree with this thread. I'm tired of all the praise for this game like noone else can see all the garbage this game has to offer. What makes it worse is that the issues I mentioned here weren't present in nba2k11. You could run the pick and roll all day on 2k11. So these fundamental issues just manifested with 2k12, but 2k12 is better than 2k11? And yes, I am mad. Anybody beat me for $65 bucks I'm mad, plain and simple.Comment

There are some issues with the game but the game itself is worthy of high reviews and post patch it would get a higher review from me than prior. They fixed alot about online play. I never hear anybody talk about it. It takes less than 15 seconds to get a quick match now. I couldn't play quickly match on 2k11. Plays actually work this year! This is unprecedented! No basketball game in this history of basketball games have ever had a play system that actually works to get open shots and good spacing! I have put more hours into this game than I would care to admit and I am still having fun. I get frustrated at the issues the game has at times but it is not a bad game. It's a great game.
