Top 12 in '12 - The Best Shot Blockers in NBA 2K12

The saying goes, you can never have too many bigs. That holds true in the NBA and in NBA 2K12. In this edition of 12 in ‘12, we’re gonna look at the top shot blockers in this year’s game and try to provide a little extra info along the way. After all, defense wins Championships.

.....I agree 100% with number one. This list is pretty solid to me.

Lebron should be on the list. I block a ton of shots with him. At least 2-3 per game.

I'd put Ibaka higher IMO. I get swatted by him all of the time against user and CPU, more than most of the guys listed

Shouldn't Vertical be part of the equation?

What happened to DeAndre Jordan and Darko Milicic? I know DJ's young, and Milicic seems downright useless otherwise, but wow. Look at last season's number and Darko and DJ were both in the top 10 in BPG at 2.03 and 1.78 respectively. ALSO consider that they were the only two players out of the top 16 to average less than 26 MPG. They ranked 3rd and 6th respectively in BLKP48M (blocks per 48 mins). I really don't see how you could not have either of them in the top 12 this year.

JaVale McGee is a glitch. I get blocks where his head is above the square on the backboard.

Mcgee having a 77 defensive awareness rating is a joke. He can block shots but his awareness isn't that high. Shouldn't be that high.

Would've been better if the vertical rating was a factor

Glad they put Tyrus Thomas in their. That dude will grab your fade away out the air on the game.
