sliders are subjective and based on user skill & style so use this as a base & adjust accordingly if you are not getting the results that you like.

      Re: YeLLz SiM-WoRLD SLiDeRS

Just finished my first game with these. Lakers (CPU) at Jazz (USER).

I got destroyed and lost by 20 (76-96). Lots of plays has been changed from the 2K roster so I was trying to learn the new plays on the fly. My offense wasn't very good at all. And trying to contain that Mamba-dude was impossible... as it should be! He ended with 31p.

      Quick impressions:
CPU only had 4 turnovers. I had 12. So once I got down by 10 it was impossible to catch up.
      CPU had 4 steals. I had 1.
      CPU shot 45%. I shot 41%.
      CPU won rebound by 6.
CPU shot 18 FTs. I only shot 9.

The only thing that annoyed me was the lack of CPU turnovers. The CPU was almost too efficient.

Remember, this was only one game and I'm not used to the plays so take for what it's worth!

Oklahoma City Thunder (User) - 94
          Miami Heat (CPU) - 92

          Notes

          • Miami Shot 46% while the Thunder shot 42%
          • 11 Free Throws For Miami, 15 Free Throw Attempts For The Thunder
          • 9 Turnovers For Miami, 7 Turnovers For The Thunder
          • 44 Points In The Paint For Miami / 30 Points In The Paint For The THunder
          • 10 Fast Break Points For Miami / 9 Fast Break Points For The Thunder

Overall, it's one of the best game i've played. I know it's early, but it feels very 2k11 like. No CPU cheese at all. CPU is open? They're not going to make it 100% of the time. Hardly any up and under moves..only for superstars like Wade / Bron.

          Miami Top Scorers

          Lebron James - 35 Points, 5 Rebounds, 2 Assists, 16-26 FG
          Dwayne Wade - 27 Points, 3 Rebounds, 5 Assists, 10-21 FG
          Chris Bosh - 8 Points, 7 Rebounds, 3-7 FG

          Thunder Top Scorers

          Kevin Durant - 45 Points, 6 Rebounds, 4 Assists, 17-31 FG
          Russell Westbrook - 20 Points, 10 Assists, 6-19 FG
          James Harden - 8 Points, 3-14 FG

This game was tough, Kevin Durant was feeling it, so i kept going to him, but nothing over the top..i tried moving the ball around, to different players, but they were mostly cold..

Overall, it felt pretty damn good, and this was a real close game. Bron missed the game winning J, it rimmed in and out. CPU doesn't wait till 1 on the shot clock most of the time anymore.

These sliders work so well with the rosters, it's unreal. Great Job.

1.) Can these be played on pro? Just wondering the differences...
2.) Do we have to play 12min quarters?
Thx for this masterpiece of a project!!!

              Re: YeLLz SiM-WoRLD SLiDeRS

So, tried another game. I wanted to be a better defensive team going up against a lesser CPU team just to see if I could win with the new sliders & roster. So here we go:

              <html><head><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" /><link href="http://dynasties.operationsports.com/css/osdyn.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css"></head><body><table cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1" class="osdyn" width="575"><tr class="masthead"><td align="center" colspan="6">Charlotte Bobcats at Boston Celtics</td></tr><tr class="stathead"><td width="48%">Jan 1, </td><td align="right" width="10%">1ST</td><td align="right" width="10%">2ND</td><td align="right" width="10%">3RD</td><td align="right" width="10%">4TH</td><td align="right" width="12%">SCORE</td></tr><tr class="oddrow"><td>Charlotte (CPU)</td><td align="right">17</td><td align="right">21</td><td align="right">22</td><td align="right">16</td><td align="right" class="active">76</td></tr><tr class="oddrow"><td>Boston (USER)</td><td align="right">30</td><td align="right">13</td><td align="right">24</td><td align="right">18</td><td align="right" class="active">85</td></tr></table><table cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1" class="osdyn spacer" width="575"><tr class="masthead_alt"><td bgcolor="#DF5106" colspan="11"><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">Charlotte Bobcats</span></td></tr><tr class="stathead"><td align="center" colspan="2">TEAM TOTALS</td><td align="right">34-79</td><td align="right">2-7</td><td align="right">6-9</td><td align="right">40</td><td align="right">21</td><td align="right">8</td><td align="right">2</td><td align="right">10</td><td align="right">76</td></tr></table><table cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1" class="osdyn spacer" width="575"><tr class="masthead_alt"><td bgcolor="#06864C" colspan="11"><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">Boston Celtics</span></td></tr><tr class="stathead"><td align="center" colspan="2">TEAM TOTALS</td><td align="right">35-78</td><td align="right">2-14</td><td align="right">13-15</td><td align="right">43</td><td align="right">43</td><td align="right">5</td><td align="right">7</td><td align="right">9</td><td align="right">85</td></tr></table></body></html>

Still not a lot of fouls called. And turnovers were way better than the first game I played, but still low (Not sure this can be fixed though). In two games I've only seen 1 over the back call and no illegal screens. I might raise both of these to 100 and see how it plays out. I've only had the CPU in the penalty 1 quarter and they only had me in the penalty 1 quarter. No player have been in foul trouble so far.

But seriously, I'm having a blast with these!!! Like it was mentioned above - no CPU cheese! Just good solid NBA basketball!

                  All-Star.

Not too hard, CPU doesn't abuse. Not too easy.

I've used your sliders for the past few years for a few reasons.

                    1) You make them with shot stick intended, most sliders now are made for Real %. I enjoy using shot stick because I feel like I have control of the game. It adds a another variable to the game that real % cannot.

                    2) You sliders actually feel like an NBA game. Most sets out there attempt to slow the game down, make the game feel bogged down. I don't understand this concept. Anybody who has watched an NBA game knows its fast, very fast and that's whats exciting. Your sliders keep the game at a fast pace while allowing you to maintain control and a realistic score.

                    Initial Impressions:

-The game play feels great, it flows smoothly while playing a good pace. You're able to slow the game down if you want or run the floor consistently.

-Field goal %'s are spot on. I'm making my fair share of tough shots while still missing the occasional wide open shot as I realistically should. I took a lot of 3's this game, it's hard for me to pass on a decent look with a shooter. Looking at my % i'll have to go inside or look for the mid-range more next game.

-I noticed a lot of others complaining of low FT attempts and fouls. I didn't run into this problem but I played aggressively taking the ball to the hoop when opportunity presented itself. I also like how the CPU will go for on ball steals and get called for the occasional reach, this has been a problem in the past.

-Turnovers by the CPU were lacking, but this might be an issue that is within the game itself and cannot be controlled. A large portion of TO's in a NBA game are not produced by steals but arrant passes and ball mishandling. This isn't replicated well in 2K12. I wouldn't want to lower passing or ball handling to the point of simple passes and crossovers flying wildly out of bounce like iv'e experienced in some other slider sets.

-Rebounding felt good. I got killed on the offensive boards, part of the reason I couldn't pull the game in the final minutes. Bigs got the board numbers they should have, while guards got a their fair share.

-Blocks was the biggest stand out for me, I out blocked them 9-0. I would expect this with having a defensive centered team but shouldn't be this lopsided. I'll play a few more games and give some more feed back before I throw the red flag.

-Fast break points go hand in hand with turnovers, its difficult to get a realistic number when it's hard to generate TO's.

-My personal issue which I haven't seen anyone else mention was Fatigue. I could have played my starters the entire 2nd half if I wanted to. This may be my personal taste but I like to be forced into playing my bench. This may be something i'll have to play with myself if no one else saw an issue with it.

Overall an excellent pace and feel to the game. By far the most enjoyable game I've had with 2K12. Look forward to finally getting my Association going with games the are realistic and enjoyable to play that I can really lose myself in. I'll post more Box Scores soon.

I've been a Real FG% guy, but I am definitely going to give these a shot and I think switching to Shot Stick could be fun, as it'll change the game up for me.

The Coaching Profiles ... those aren't set in the roster you released? I have no issues entering that on my own, just wanted to ask. How do you distinguish between good-average-bad teams? Go by team ratings and divide the league into thirds?

They are already set in the rosters for every team. No manual entry required.

play a few more games... each game has a different flow based on the team that you are & the team that you play against. i can personally gurantee that you will see a substantially different amount of errand passes & turnovers releated to that & random non-shooting fouls as you continue

Well OP said shot stick so that's what was used to create the sliders. But I don't know howmuch it matters really. Some like the extra control and skill shot stick require... I've tried both with these sliders and my shooting percentages didn't change. Both felt good.

So I guess you can go with what you're most comfortable with.
