And just so this thread does not turn into a 28 post suggestion thread, here are the other jerseys which i love to see in NHL 13

(not included but would be much appreciated: Bruins Winnie The Pooh 3rd introduced in 96, Ducks Wild Wing 3rd from 96 and the Kings Burger King 3rd, also introduced in 1996)

the ones that i've always been wishing for are those red and black Sabres jerseys and the early 2000s Penguins, not the 90s jerseys they currently have. If EA added all the jereseys in this thread, it was drastically improve how much i like this game, lol.

I have seen articles before and Q+A's where EA said the NHL and NBA tells them what they are permitted to include in game. NBA gives them a lot more choices, but the NHL really limits what they can use. Any one know why this would be?

That is possible. But I also know there were hockey games 5 or 6 years ago that offered tons of Jerseys. Maybe the NHL has changed their perspective since then? But I can't think of a reason they wouldn't want us to use the old Coyotes jerseys??

NHL 2k8 had pretty much every jersey ever worn in the NHL, with only a few exceptions.

It's also annying that the vintage jerseys that are in NHL 12 looks like fatsuits so there is no fun using them anyway.

Better still than EA doing it would just be them giving us the tools to do it ourselves. Imagine if you could make your own player face (Gameface would be nice!) and then also edit textures yourself.
Just imagine if we could make our own jerseys. Then EA doesn't have to worry about trademark issues, or anything like that.
It wouldn't be too hard, most PC games have been allowing players to edit it themselves.
This would also free up EA to worry about other more important things, and give us the freedom to make retired jerseys we miss, and for people that like making their own teams the ability to make their own jerseys instead of having to pick from logos and available jersey options.

This would also allow us to make legitimate national team jerseys.

These for sure. Before you say anything, they are different than the current home and away. The Old Yotes and Sabres and Penguins jerseys should be in as well
