Phoenix Suns association
I was thinking of running another Suns assoc. What have you guys done to rebuild that dismal team?Tags: None -
Re: Phoenix Suns association
Yeah trade nash. He has value and either retires year 1 or plays for 3 more years. If you want to be fair though don't use trade finder on Nash. You'll get some crazy cheap trades. Use it on a player you really want to be a part of the Suns future and try to work Nash in.Comment

Re: Phoenix Suns association
Pretty much blow the team up. If you want to keep their fast-break style then try to obtain players like Flynn and Randolph who don't get enough playing time on their current squads and develop nicely. Only starters I'd keep are Gortat and Brown, not a big Morris fan so I'd move him.
The thing about trading Nash is you don't want to get TOO much back for him as it would be cheap, and you want to realistically send him to a contender missing a PG such as the Knicks, Heat, or Lakers. Maybe try a 3-team trade where you move Nash + a guy like Warrick, Frye, or Dudley who have rough contracts for a decent young player + draft pick.
Same goes with Grant Hill who could be moved to good teams needing a SF upgrade (Lakers)Comment

Re: Phoenix Suns association
Yea, I would trade Steve Nash, Hakim Warrick for the NYK 1st-round draft pick, Toney Douglas, Jerome Jordan. If the Knicks don't have enough CAP room try matching it outList of the best Shoe Creations found on the OS Shoe Vault Discussion Thread

Re: Phoenix Suns association
thanks man i want to do realistic trades just like that! gotta say tho that im not the biggest fan of drafted players..
also i have to admit that i dont know that much abt the nba. so often its hard to judge for me if a trade is realistic or not.
i know some guy opened a thread a while were he mentioned 6 possible trades in order to rebuild the suns ( he probably found them via trade finder) and they were almost exclusively unrealistic and raping the cpu, according to the comments. im not interested in such transactions that eventho it could improve my suns. so maybe some of you have some suggestions of realistic and fair trades for the likes of steve nash and grant hill?Spending time with Jesus!

Re: Phoenix Suns association
On that Knicks trade I would get their first rounder and Iman Shumpert for Nash. Might need to throw in a garbage player for cap. I would then trade Grant Hill to the Lakers for Ramon Sessions and their second round pick. This would give you 4 picks to play with in the draft a young SG and PG. you could also try trading Hill AND Nash and maybe a pick for Evan Turner, who develops into a franchise player.thanks man i want to do realistic trades just like that! gotta say tho that im not the biggest fan of drafted players..

Re: Phoenix Suns association
so I have been playing a couple of games with the suns and I have to say I'm struggling a bit with creating open looks for my shooters. that forces me to for scoring via lay ups. so the points in the paint stat has become unrealistically high and at the same time the assist numbers for steve nash are way too low. this is mostly due to thier playbook, even though I'm using vanwolfs version. I have auto play calling switched on. any suggestions how to change this? :sSpending time with Jesus!
