Rate my 3 Way Trade: Realistic or not

I am using the mavericks in association and i wanted to get Bargnani and Shumpert.

so this is what i did:

i first trade Vince Carter, Delonte West, Ian Mahinmi (rated 65 now after 2K update) and my 2013 First Round Pick to Memphis for O.J mayo.

IRL there is no way the Grizz can resign Mayo because of cap room issues, and last year they nearly traded mayo for just Josh McRoberts. The pieces i gave up for Mayo will make the Grizz so deep in every position.

Here's my three way trade:

Maverick trade:

OJ Mayo to TOR
Bredan Haywood to TOR
Rodrigue Beaubois to NY
2012 First Round Pick to TOR

Raptors trade:

Andrea Bargnani to DAL
Ed Davis to NY
Jerryd Bayless to NY
Gary Forbes to DAL

Knicks Trade:

Iman Shumpert to DAL
Renaldo Balkman to DAL
Jarde Jeffries to TOR
Toney Douglas to TOR

I am assuming the raptors will amnesty Haywood down the line when their european rookie big man (5th pick from last year's draft) comes over in 2013.

Realistic ? Fair or Foul ?

I don't see Toronto giving up both Bargnani and Ed Davis, and probably neither unless the first round pick was going to be a for sure lottery pick. Dallas' pick will most likely be a late one and not really have much value.

Seen way more unrealistic trades on these threads. This one isn't too outrageous but like QPC said, there is no way Toronto is giving up Bargs and/or Davis and NY isn't giving up Shumpert. I think the only way NY would give up Shumpert is a trade with NJ for DWill.

Just my opinion. Not a horrible trade but just slightly on the unrealistic side. But hey, if you want to play with those guys on your team, rock it. You might be setting up the most finesse lineup in history with Dirk, Odom, Bargnani, and Yi. There aren't enough Reggie Evans's and Danny Fortson's in the league to bolster that frontcourt.

Yeah, I don't think it gets done in real life, but in an alternate NBA universe with players rated the way they are, I don't think any of the teams is getting screwed either. Write down what each teams lineup would be if they made the deal and ask yourself if each team is improved, and if they aren't, are their draft considerations going to probably wind them up there.

Idk it's not terrible. It would never happen. The thing I don't like is that you usually don't see that many average players being thrown around without a superstar involved. I mean maybe Bargnani is a good player, not a great one. I just don't see that and I also don't like the rotation swap there. Like just switching PG's all just for Bargnani.

Yeah in real life i dont see the bargs thing happening. it stheir best player for a run down VC. meh
