Online Franchise Co-Op

Will MLB Show 12 allow myself and a friend to team up as a team in online co-op franchise? (ie. one player as the batter, another as the pitcher) I've been hoping for a game with this feature for years.. any luck?

I'm pretty sure we won't know or talk about it for another few months in a wishlist or after the post season

The only thing that is known is that there is co-op franchise. Whether or not it is on-line has not been confirmed.

i think co-op means two humans controlling the same time. thats what i have seen confirmed. i don't know if that means other humans can control the other teams..

Co-op impies working together, so the same team. If its player vs player that is competitive. So if they've only said co-op that means same team. If another player can control another team, I'd consider that competitive.

I am not sure...but I don't think that you can go online in franchise mode and have another player join into your franchise, either controlling another team or playing alongside you on your team.
That would be just on the same machine.

If that's what they did, then that's a shame. To me, it's only a worth-while function if it's online. I don't see the logic to do it just on the same machine. At that point, it seems its more of a novelty feature and not really something that you can get into with another person...unless they live with you.

I still don't understand why they can't release the fact sheet so everyone can quit guessing. The game comes out in 5 weeks.

I agree, an online intergration would be great for franchise imo. One of the only reasons I play other games like ncaa and madden.

So....fact sheet is out. There is still no mention of whether or not this is an online option.

I never made Detective, but I'm guessing that would have been a fact sheet addition.
