What do you think of this trade?
I just traded T. Jackson, a 2012 1st and a 2013 1st for Matt Flynn, the future of the Seahawks...

Re: What do you think of this trade?
Over paid, Flynn is worth, Jackson, 2012 1st/2nd, and maybe a 3rd-4th 2013 pick. -
Re: What do you think of this trade?
I tried all of this but they wouldn't accept, I'm not playing 32 controlled btw.Comment

Re: What do you think of this trade?
I don't think the 1st round pick is too important for the 'Hawks anyway, they have one of the best secondarys, if not the best who are all young and great ballhawks, a good linebacker core and some nice pass rush from the DE's. The offence is pretty set now that I've got my QB, I'll just use the 2 round + picks for interior linemen now..Comment

Re: What do you think of this trade?
Was this during year 1 of franchise?
I'd have waited to see if he was a FA at the end of the season rather than that kind of overpay.
If you're looking for a realistic view of things, though:
1) TJack wouldn't be a part of the trade. He might be cut from Seattle as a result of it, but the Pack would have no interest in him and would look to draft another QB to groom.
2) If the Pack did resign him and we're in year 2, it's safe to act like this is similar to them franchising him to get some compensation, and no more than a 1st would be warranted in exchange. Big time overpay.
What is Flynn rated/what's his potential at this point? He was like an 82/B with the last roster update I downloaded (probably mid-seasonish), so I'm surprised a 1st alone doesn't get it done.Comment

82 A
He has 80+ in all accuracys except deep, a good throw power and can run with it.Comment

Re: What do you think of this trade?
Though I don't think Flynn will be anything special (I think he'll be the next Kolb/Cassel who blew up as a backup but disappoints as a starter), I am very happy to see they gave him A potential. That at least makes him a hot commodity as opposed to a guy who sinks behind and nobody pays much notice to. I always edited him up to A potential in my franchises.
Is this still year 1 or are you in year 2 and the Pack resigned him?Comment

Re: What do you think of this trade?
Year 1. I lost to the 49ers 17-10 in the opener, T.Jack was terrible and that 1 game just made me trade him. I beat the steelers 41-10 with the 'hawks after that game. Though my D has had 9 picks in 2 games.. Earl thomas <3Comment

Re: What do you think of this trade?
u overpaid i just tried same trade and they took t jack and 2012 1st rd so u basically gave the packers a free 1st rd draft pick for a unproven player who has only played in 2 games.Comment

Re: What do you think of this trade?
They didn't for me? I tried T.Jack, a 1st, T.Jack a 1ST and a 4th, t.jack a 1st and a 2nd, eventually they only accepted 2 1st's..
You got the latest rosters?Comment

Re: What do you think of this trade?
Way overpaid, and I'm pretty sure Flynn is always in the FA pool at the end of the year.
Regardless of whether or not you "needed" those 2 1st round picks, you could easily gotten some great established players with those picks alone. Also hurts if you do well and are stuck picking late in the 2nd for 2 years.Comment
