    College2K8 Spreadsheet

I recently made a spreadsheet that transfers the attributes of a college player into a NBA2K draftee. Its very easy to use and color coded to help you identify what goes where.

    Tab 1 - (CH2K8Input)
Once you enter all needed attributes of a college player, their NBA attributes and tendencies are adjusted to represent them properly. I have an example already entered. (Side-note - the highest possible rating for entering college attributes for offensive awareness, defensive awareness and potential is 109. Any other attribute should max at 99)

Tab 2 - (NCAA Draftee Input)
This tab is not that important as its only use is to keep track of which potential NCAA draftees come out which conference. All in all it makes it easier to find them if you ever have to look for one of the 65 specific players that choose to go pro or have to finish entering attributes at a later date.

    Tab 3 - (NBA2K11 Draftees Output)
This tab does the majority of the work for you, the only thing you have to enter is their NBA Position. As for Play Style, 2nd Position, and Personality they are optional. Columns highlighted in red mean its randomized, if it's highlighted in yellow it means its position specific.

    Tab 4 (Randoms) & Tab 5 (Formulas)
These are just were I house formulas, so you can ignore these.

This can also be used for creating a fictional draft class by entering what attributes you think a college player should have.

If you have any questions or comments don't hesitate to ask.

There is an enclosed RAR file below. The spreadsheet is titled AA Template. The other one is an already made template example to give you an idea of how the spreadsheet works. The other file is the actual spreadsheet which is what you use.

    **Update #1**
I have uploaded 2K11 draft classes as well as their accompanying spreadsheets as well. Do not worry about the years or the order in which they're presented, you can use any way you choose. I included a 3rd (2020) spreadsheet for a yet to be completed draft class but it gives you a glimpse of what players will be worth looking for in the future. (Texas is recruiting well)

    **Update #2**
In this update I have corrected problems with the excel spreadsheet entitled "AA Spreadsheet - Template 6". If you are copying attributes from another sheet onto this one you will need to go to "paste special" then click on "unicode text". That should alleviate previous problems. Also other attributes & tendencies won't show until you label his NBA Position in the NBA2K Draftees tab (I column)

    **Update #3**
I have corrected some problems others were having so the spreadsheet is no longer problematic. The new updated spreadsheet is labeled as Template #8.

    Google Docs -

What the spreadsheet looks like filled in.

What the spreadsheet looks like blank.

Go to open office and start a "new spreadsheet". Then from there, open up the file. It should work properly after that, because it sounds like you're opening it as a word document instead.

Let me know if that helps.

You should upload your document to Google Docs so that people have a link to access it. Just in case their Excel is messed up.

Forgive me if this is a silly question but.... what exactly is the purpose of this? Does this somehow allow you to import players from 2k8 into 2k12?

I'm just trying to understand what purpose the spreadsheet serves.

                            Thanks

                              1. The main reason I created this is for those of us who still enjoy CH2K8 and wanted the draftees and graduates in the NBA version. This allows that by copying down their college attributes from CH2K8 into the spreadsheet which gives you their NBA attributes.

                              2. The other purpose is for those creating fictitious draft classes. This makes it easier to see what type of player they would get if said player(s) went to college, without doing the tedious work of coming up with the attributes and tendencies since they are automatically computed for you.

I would suggest you play around with it and then you'll get an even better idea.
