Can a 58 game season in association mode still be fun ?

really have no time to play a 82 game season was thinking to doin 58 game season has anyone picked 58 game season before and still had fun ?

Yeah, it's fun, I guess. I like it because it's not a super long season, seeing as I don't like to sim games but play every one. Also, I like it better than a 29 game season because I play each team twice; once at home and once on the road. The thing that sucks about it is that the schedule has been the same since who-knows-when. I wish you could randomize the schedule.

Agreed on this one, I play a 29 game season just for time sake but it still entertaining enough to me...

58 is perfect. If you want to you can play a team once and sim the other game. IMO the NBA should move to a 58 game schedule. Each game would mean more and every one plays the other 29 teams twice. That alone could open the gates to a top 16 playoff rather than a best 8 from each conference.

58 is perfect imo. Gives me the right balance of games I sim and games I play. I like to play out the first 10 games myself, sim the next 10, see where I'm at, and if I feel like our team is headed to the playoffs, I'll play the next 50-60%. If I don't, I'll sim 60-70%.

yeah i just started a fantasy draft knicks assoc (in the dynasty HQ if you want to follow) and decided to go 58 games because i seem to never get through 82 game seasons when playing all the games. So far I'm liking it.
You get to play ever team twice and makes scheduling sense.

Just started a T'Wolves 58 game association and enjoying it. Hoping I can finish it. Haven't finished an entire season of association in a few years, since 2K9 I believe. But I have more time on my hands this year, so I think I'll do it.

So yes, I recommend it, no doubt.

yea, i agree its fun. i originally started a 29 game franchise...but it sucks if you lose to a team because you don't get a shot at revenge against them. So at least with 58, you get the chance to play every team twice

Speaking of this. Is it possible to play your first season as a 58 game season and then change the rest to 82 after? I don't think it is but I've never tried.

well im sure it can be fun. its one of those things i would never do because it would just bug the heck out of me to see my final record add up to 58 and not 82. so personally i would do an 82 game season and just sim 25 of the games, but again thats me, im sure you could have fun on 58 if you dont mind the weird looking records
