Is the spin dunk/layup stoppable?

I haven't played 2k12 in a while because of this issue and I still see it !!!
can it be stopped? or atleast slowed down? suggestions?

Hands up with the RS.A straight spin in the paint with a layup is easy to block you just gotta time it right but if your talkin about the spin then pumpfake junkies then use the hands up.Usually youll body um up and they will shoot a bodied up contested layup.

If I see someone with the heat that constantly trying to do it I go 2-3 or 1-3-1 zone and te coach option of lock down paint by clicking left on the D pad

It's not as bad as 2k11. I havent seen one post spin dunk in 2k12 online either.

Spin dunk is still an unstoppable canned animation.

Its stoppable. I just blocked a guy trying to do it in team-up. You just have to be right under the rim and time the block just right.

Yes of course it is. Bump them before they enter the paint and the shot can be blocked too. If it is a one on one situation and you are letting the cpu play defense for you against someone like Josh Smith, Durant, Iggy, or Lebron then do you really expect to stop it?
