Portland, Sacramento, Toronto All Star Games?

Does anyone see any way NBA will ever go there for an ASG?

In the media conference today, Stern said that the reason NBA never went to Portland for ASG mainly has to do with hotels(there's several thousand people they have to book hotels for,so they don't believe Portland would be able to accommodate that)

Which makes me wonder if that's the situation for Sacramento and Toronto as well. And if it is so, does this mean that we we won't get an ASG in either of these cities? Portland and Sacramento have been around for 25+ years in the NBA and never got a game. Raptors have been around for 15+ years and never got a game(though Toronto has had MLB ASG and NHL ASG so they should be able to handle NBAs too?)

Memphis,OKC haven't gotten ASG either, but those are both fairly new teams, so give them some time.

The NBA has specifc guidelines for picking all star game sites. Toronto is a no go because it's not in a american market eventhough it's the 4th biggest media market in North America. Chicago hasnt hosted since 1988 and Boston since 1964. In the case of Boston, it's a convention center issue. It's on the other side of the city. Stern has made that clear everytime Boston comes up.
