      Game Notes

-53 shots is a ton, but I spent 10 minutes killing penalties in the game. I play a conservative defense sitting in front of the net forcing shots from out wide. Might make my goalies look a lot better than they actually are.

-My passing has been terrible so I am bumping up pass assist to 2 instead of 1.
-I called up Jacob Markstrom as we hit the road for games on back to back nights against Tampa and Washington. Markstrom will be in net against Tampa, Clemmensen will take the game against Washington.

Tough start to the season DOM, but like my SENS dynasty it'll be a tough road to make the playoffs. I'd like to see the hitting a bit higher it seems awfully low. That is just my 2 cents though.

Yeah not sure what I can do to get the hit numbers higher. I have aggression all the way up. Plus this game doesn't count half of the hits that would count in a real hockey game.

Are you playing with the default rosters? I haven't got the game yet but plan to do my Be a GM from just before the draft.

What areas of the team are you looking at improving?

Using the most up to date rosters. Looking to improve at goalie and some legitimate scoring threats offensively. Whole team it seems are two way players. I need guys who can put the puck in the net on the PP.

                        Looking good so far buddy.

I think your real need is a legitimate franchise player in your top 6, your bottom 6 looks fairly solid minus Matthias. He's been in their system forever, I feel that in real life he should be packaged or used to bring a solid winger prospect...maybe like a Zach Kassian or go for someone like a Jeremy Morin?

Other than that, your D looks good. Ellerby, Gudbranson and Kulikov are a great start. I think you should pick up another solid young right handed D that can be a top 4 guy with those 3. Your goaltending will be solid in a year or 2 with Markstrom.

Yeah i just don't have anyone right now that can go out and take over a game. I am pretty solid top to bottom on my lines, but like you said I could really use a top 6 guy.

Anyone have any young future superstar suggestions for trades? I would love to put together a package to bring in anyone.
