Which is your favorite football game ever created? In terms of gameplay, realism, rosters, commentary, juking/passing game, game modes, fun, etc. My favorite is either Madden 04 or ESPN 2K5. What's yours?

Madden 12/ because we have came so far in graphic wise then madden 04 and 2k ya we all know that EA asn't put out a game that we would like them to but i see a change in the future for EA to fix the problems now (HOPE THEY DO) me personally nevered like the 2k5 football game nor did i ever played it but had it for ps2 still got it factory sealed.

My favorite Madden game to date is Madden 10. My favorite 2k football game is 2k5. The game I am currently playing APF 2k8, this game still impresses me as a very solid football game.

Super Tecmo Bowl tops them all. Nothing more devastating than watching your qb get helped off the field with that tragic injury music playing in the background.

I have played NFL 2K5 then every madden from 08 up.

Judging from those 2 I would say the presentation in 2K5 is the best I have seen so far while madden 08 had the best gameplay to me.

So those 2 games are tied.

nfl2k5 hands down and ive bought and played every madden every year ..i dream about the day 2k makes an nfl football game again ..not that madden isnt good because it gets the job done for me but i just know that a 2k football game on these platforms would blow madden to pieces

1. Madden 08 PC - perhaps not technically better than 2K but I got a massive amount of value out of this.

2. ESPN NFL 2K4. It was simply better human vs cpu than 2K5 IMO, which had franchise problems and AI issues. For whatever reasons I just had better games in 2K4 - I distinctly recall finding a really good slider set but I never really found a great one for 2K5, so perhaps it's just me.
