    Fantasy Draft question

Decided to try Fantasy Draft in the game as the Nats. I have #2 pick, #1 was Kershaw.

I'm wondering if I should take either Felix or Verlander for my first pick, or go with hitters first and get "decent, but not outstanding" pitchers.

I can take Cargo, Bautista, Tulowitzki, or Braun. Or whoever.

What do you guys think? Should I maybe get 1 amazing pitcher, and then try to get the best fielders/hitters I can?

What is your fantasy draft strategy that you use?

    Troy Tulowitzki or Matt Kemp?

Which position would be more important for a 1st round pick? SS or CF?

Meaning Troy Tulowitzki or Matt Kemp?

Yeah, you have to look at it in terms of if you have Kemp and some other SS, would they collectively be more productive than Tulo and some other OF.

Probably more OF's who are serviceable compared to SS's.

Tulo best ss in the game. Plenty of good outfielders

This. I mean I guess I'm biased because he's my favorite player and I think hes the coolest guy in the world but yeah, go with Tulo.

I think what you do in the first 6 rounds will decide what your team will look like. In these rounds you should pick 3 starting Pitchers and 3 Position Players. If you go 3 pitchers and then 3 PP then you will have a strong pitching core. If you go, 3 PP and then 3 pitchers you will have some serious power at the plate but your pitching will suffer. I like to go 2 SP, 2 PP, 1 SP, 1PP. It shows an emphasis on pitching but maintains balance. Check out the first 25 rounds that I use here.
