MLB 2k12 PS3

I tried to look through the forums for the answers to my questions before i started this thread but could not find the answers.

I want to play a baseball game online this year and its looking like the show is hit or miss for online play.

1. Does the PS3 version of MLB 2k12 have or is it getting the framerate patch that the 360 version got?

2. Is the online play for the PS3 good or are there timing and lag issues during online games?

I am seriously considering buying MLB 2k12 if the online play is better than the show. I don't need another game for offline play, I have a dynasty with updated rosters for MVP 2005.

Not sure on your first question, the second, during the actual pitch the lag isn't bad buy just after you hit there is a long pause making it hard to get a jump on the ball leading to a lot of gappers that definetaly shouldn't be.

Thanks for the response. Is the timing for pitching and hitting online pretty close to what it is offline or is the timing off? If you are batting online do you have to start the swing earlier or later than when playing offline?

Hard to answer, I play on legend offline and I can see the ball and react when online I feel like I'm guessing a lot. IMO I would just get the other game I think that's what I'm going to do.

There already was a patch for ps3. It was released on the 2nd day I believe. It was 43 MB and version 1.01. However, to this day I have yet to see what the fixes were. Since that patch, I do feel like the framerate got much better. I was actually contemplating on returning the game when I bought it on release day. That's how annoying the framerate issue was for me. Now I love this game.

i can confirm the 1.01 patch that was released on the 360 a few weeks ago is out for the ps3.
I checked the framerate and so far so good.
no crazy hitching like in the demo.
