    Player Vault Confusion

I am not finding any helpful answer to this in the threads that came up when I entered my subject. They all seem to pertain to 2011

I have downloaded Yoenis Cespedes to player vault.
When I go to Vaults...Player Vaults...My Players, he is not there.

Should he be, and more importantly, how Do I get him on Oakland's Roster. I have already started the franchise with the Live Roster (so Manny would be on it), but have a feeling I cannot import him into the franchise.

From the main screen then, how do I import him into the Live Roster, which I have saved and can load, --so I can then start a Franchise with live roster and Cespedes in it.

I don't know why he doesn't show in My Players, but it shows him after I downloaded him , on one screen.

    Thanks, it's a bit confusing

If you have downloaded (as you say) he is NOT in "Your Vault" - he is a save file on your PS3. Simply go to the Roster Management section outside of a mode (meaning in the main menu before starting a season/franchise/rtts) and import player to roster. This will show you your saved files.

No really, we're trying to flatter you.

Thanks for that info, it helps some. But I may be dense as fence post, but I simply do not see any Roster stuff in the main menu, I don't see Roster Managment or anything like that, just Roster Control. Using the LS to go to the different areas. What am I missing? Can you tell me exactly what the wording is perhaps, and or what screen it is on. I just 'ain't seein' it

I appreciate it. From the fog....

If you want to put Yoenis Cespedes or any other downloaded player to a team, you go to roster control, select whatever team you want to import your player to, select any player you want to import over (I always import the last guy on my roster with a D potential or F potential since they don't matter much), then select import player. Position players have to be imported over other position players and pitchers have to be imported over other pitchers.

Ok I got it, DUH. I thought Roster Control just meant which team did you want to control. Hello!

Anyway, I now have Oakland with Manny and Yoenis. I thank you both pointing me in the right direction

You're mixing up terms so it's confusing what you did. Download means you got a copy from the vault and put it on you PS3. But you say you "downloaded to the vault" so did you create Yoenis and "download" (should be upload) your version to the Vault? Then he would show up under My Players. That's the area for your created and uploaded players.

Edit: Nevermind, looks like you figured things out.
