NCAA 13 rosters (Freshman starters)

hey i'm trying to compile a list of incoming true freshman who will start or potentially start, and what you guys think their respective ratings should be. I don't believe any true freshman should be ranked over an 84.

I've got a few guys in mind.

Notre Dame- QB Gunner Kiel (79-83) WR Davonte Neal (80-82) DT Jarron Jones (81)
Ohio State- DE Noah Spence (81-84) DE Adolphus Washington (79-83) RB Bri'onte Dunn (77-82) OT Kyle Dodson (77-83) OT Taylor Decker (75-78) LB Josh Perry (75-78)
Michigan- OT Kyle Kalis (80-84) DT Ondre Pipkins (80-83) OL Blake Bars (76-79) LB Joe Bolden (78-82) WR Amara Darboh (78-81) DE Tom Strobel (77-80)

List any potential true freshman starters you know of of hear of from upcoming spring games.

Dude there are way too many to name. You'd be wasting so much time doing this. With that said, rating a true freshman 84 overall is ridiculous, especially since they are unproven. After the season is over, sure you can rate them that, but not before. 81 would be the highest I'd rate a freshman, and that would only go towards the top 10 prospects.

Now, if you want a list of people that have a high chance at making a strong freshman impact, I'd suggest going to the Rivals.com Top 100 prospects from the 2012 recruiting classes.

Yea your probably right, I was trying to get input from fans who know od certain position battles and true freshman that will start. It prob would be a waste of time, my bad I was bored.

Gunner Kiel and Jarron Jones will not start for ND. Davonte Neal is the only freshman with a legit chance of starting

The top QB recruit in the nation won't start for aa team that cant find a good starter out of 3 guys they have? I'm not so sure, He's enrolled and playing spring ball. My guess is Kelly probably gave him a good enough indication that he'd start when he flipped on LSU. just sayin...

I repeat...Gunner Kiel WILL NOT start this year. He flipped to ND because he wanted to be closer to home. Kelly wasn't going all out for him from the start because Kelly and all those around the program think that Golson is the real deal and has a very bright future ahead. I will almost guarentee the starter for the Navy game is either Golson or Hendrix...the spring game is only a month away so we will see where Kiel stands

there is not a chance of Gunner Kiel starting for ND next year, the only player i could see starting from the freshman class would have been tee shepard, who has now left the school, starting QB race is Hendrix/Rees with Golson in 3rd

Keith Brown and/or Nick Dawson could start at OLB for Louisville

Gerod Holliman will probably start at nickelback

Tommy Rees is doing better then any of the QB's this Spring, but when its all said and done, its gonna be Tommy or Andrew starting when they play Navy.

None of the guys from Ohio State will be starting, with the possible exception of Brionte Dunn.

Yea, Taylor Decker is a backup tackle as of now, The one guy I've noticed is FR WR Michael Thomas, he has gotten a lot of 1st team reps in spring practice, primarily due to injury.

Thomas should be a day 1 starter either in the slot or outside depends on how they wanna use Philly Brown & Jordan Hall.

Michigan- DT Ondre Pipkins

May not be able to play as he might not qualify academically.

I wouldn't rule out Washington or Spence playing a lot since Nathan Williams might not be ready for the season. Urban likes D-line depth and fresh guys on the field. I hope Steve Miller pans out.

I heard from College Football Live that Oklahoma State freshman Wes Lunt will be the starting quarterback entering this upcoming season.
