I was thinking about making a similar post. At least Madden's crappy rock and NBA 2K's hiphop are partly associated with the sport. But this garbage relating to baseball?!?!?
I'd rather hear that Scott Proctor is toeing the rubber with the game on the line....

I actually liked Atmosphere before hearing this garbage. And that's what it is, one of those songs you hear and can't imagine how it even got recorded because it's that stupid.

I actually listened to the song for the whole duration the first time before realizing there was no mistake and it was part of the soundtrack. I removed it from the playlist after adding some custom music. To me at least, it just doesn't fit in with a baseball game.

I especially like the line ".. she wanted a baby, so I gave her one of those". Gave me the impression I could pick one up at Walgreens in aisle five.

Yeah, there are a couple of songs that I like on the soundtrack (Black Keys, Justice) but this is a down year for the jukebox. Worst part is that one of my songs screws up the jukebox, so all I get sometimes is the calls from the games.

That stupid "Saint Christopher" song forced me to import 200 of my own songs. I haven't heard or been forced to pay attention to the default soundtrack since.

That was the only song I muted.


If you want to play that game of writing songs about people, I could make one right now off the top of my head, in similar fashion to that "Saint Christopher" song.

First thing out of the box I do every year is go to the jukebox and mute the soundtrack. Then add in Baseball Tonight and MLB on Fox's themes and I am good to go.
