NCAA Football 13 Sights and Sounds Webcast

Tune in to the NCAA Football 13 Sights and Sounds Webcast on Monday, April 2nd at 2pm ET to find out what's new from a Sights and Sounds perspective before anyone else! www.easports.com/ncaafootballwebcast

Members of the dev team will be presenting everything that is new directly to you, the fans, before anyone else gets to report out on it. After the show, we'll be posting our blogs, etc on the site. From there, you'll be able to post questions that you may have on Twitter using the #NCAAFootball13 tag and on our Facebook page. We'll be selecting and answering as many questions as we can on the next NCAA Football 13 podcast.

We hope you'll be able to tune in. In case you miss it, we'll be archiving the show for you to view when you're able to.

@Dewiel, what exactly falls under "sights and sounds" because in the questions thread, Steve_OS mentioned some might fall under presentation?

Just trying to clarify what type questions should be submitted for the best chance of receiving an answer, not asking for any premature details.

If it has anything to do with how the game is presented (cameras, College Gameday, commentary, etc.) then it won't get asked. If it deals with things you see in the game (crowd, uniforms, field degredation, etc.), then it will.

What? Wouldn't that be the other way around?

Not really. For example, when a game touts "Broadcast Presentation", that means the camera angles and commentary are true to real-life broadcasts.

The sights and sounds include music, on-field sounds, the crowd, uniforms, stuff you would experience if you were there in person, not just watching on TV.

Thanks, that makes sense. Well I guess this is a good sign that EA is committing a whole webcast to real life collegiate "sight and sound" authenticity. I hope people that are familiar with collegiate nuances ask some specific questions to get a sense of how much attention to detail will be in NCAA13. For example, if they finally get crowd noise right like people have been begging for, that potentially bodes well for gameplay issues not being ignored.

So when will presentation be discussed? I don't see a date on the playbook. The first blog looks like the only one that would cover presentation.

Guys, there must have been a misunderstanding here. Presentation related items not tied to specific game modes will be discussed here. Meaning that if something is tied only to dynasty or RTG, it will be discussed during that playbook. We will be discussing plenty on Monday. Hope that helps.

Alright, I stand corrected. Earlier Steve said some of the questions had to do with presentation and wouldn't be asked. Maybe I misunderstood what he said.

Can't believe its already this time of year again! Every year, it almost seems like the lead in to the NCAA football game is better than getting the actual game.

What I will say, is that the game has improved on a yearly basis (with the possible exception of bugs keeping that from being true with last year). If I read some reviews and read how the game improved, than you can bet I will buy it again this year. Hoping tomorrow will be a good start!

Even tho I was not happy with NCAA12 mainly because gameplay. I'm looking forward to the start of ncaa13 info flowing. Not getting to hype right now. But it is good that we are finally getting some info in here today and for months to come. Let the party begin!!

I'm sure there will be some good nuggets today, but this line from EA has lowered my expectations a bit for today

"Presentation related items not tied to specific game modes will be discussed here. Meaning that if something is tied only to dynasty or RTG, it will be discussed during that playbook"

which tells me that there will still be a lot of unanswered questions in the sight and sounds department.

                              for example:

some people are asking about college gameday...
you'll have to wait till they talk about dynasty mode for that
