Do you play as your favorite team??

Ok, now that THE ROSTERS have dropped I have started my franchise with my well loved Indians. I lost my opener to the Jays 9-8 and I am now watching the game in real life and my Tribe are winning 4-1.

I am thinking maybe of playing another team besides the one I follow daily and I was just wondering if you all play your favorite club or with somebody else entirely. I don't play mimicking real life, I consider this a fictional universe and what happens, happens whether it is trades or injuries and just play.

I'm the same way. I play with the Mariners and besides the injuries that happen to start the year, I just let the season play out how it will. I don't mess with the 30 team control even though I'd like the lineups to be better, but I dont have the time..

I can't play with anyone but the Phillies, unless I'm doing a fantasy draft. Since I do one franchise of each, it works out just fine for me.

I'm doing a two team franchise. I use my favorite NL and favorite AL team. I play as the Mets and the Indians. I don't worry about the computer lineups either. I just take the game as an alternate world and don't try to keep it like the real world.

If i played with the A's, my life span would be cut in half especially playing The Show every night after an A's loss....no thanx....i always pick the worst team from the year before and play with them

That is kind of how I feel, I like that idea of picking the worst team from last year that could be really fun

i wouldn't want any emotional attachment involved on transactions that i make so using a team that im not completely familiar with is much easier

The only team I use is my favorite team, the Mets, I wouldn't use anybody else.

Play with my Brewers every year, all 162. I will be playing a co-op season with the Jays this year though.

Got to play as the cardinals, but usually I do another franchise at the same time as the orioles. I don't know why but I always tend do to better with teams that aren't the cardinals.

Always have a franchise with yankees but also have one with a nl team cubs most of the time may do pirates or braves this year to switch it up no dh different game

Yeah I can never play with the Sox either. I've literally never used them EVER in a baseball video game. I'm using the A's this year...

When I play exhibition games (while waiting for the OSFM to drop), I will try different teams. Mainly to play with different players that I like around the league. However, once the OSFM set drops, I go straight to franchise. Select my fav team (the Rays) and set all injuries that are current IRL and then play the franchise out.

I can't play with anyone else but my favorite team in franchise. I just don't get as into it. I realize some guys like the challenge of turning a team around, but, I feel like every year is a challenge for my club and I have yet to win a WS with them in any iteration of the show so no need for me to go with a lower-rated team. I already have enough of a challenge.

I am only one game into my 'chise, but, I lost the opener to the Yankees 11-1. Absolute worst game I have played on The Show in recent memory.
