The pass is linked to your account, so as soon as you log in on the new system it should be recognized.

Yep what he said. It might not automatically re-download, but you can go into the PS store and access your previous downloads and just get it again at no cost.

Also when the time comes and you get your new system before you set it up do yourself a favor and head over to Sony Account Login from there follow the directions below to DEACTIVATE your old PS3. This never used to be an issue but since sony changed the TOS (Terms of Service) to make it so you can only have yoru account ACTIVE on 2 consoles at one time it is good to get it removed from any console you are no longer using.

• Sign In
• Click on account tab
• Click on Media and Devices on the left
• Now click on game on the right hand side
• You will be given a button to DEACTIVATE ALL.
• You can not DEACTIVATE INDIVIDUAL SYSTEMS THIS WAY

Thanks everyone. I am doing the exchange process through Sony. Hopefully it is a speedy process. My SHOW is stuck inside my old console.
Just downloaded OSFM. Depressing having to start over.

I hate to break it to you but it is not a speedy process, also make sure they are 100% aware your game is in the console or you may not get it back. Write down the serial number of your console before you send it out incase anything happens while it is at sony and they try to give you a hard time and then when you get it back go online to the store and BUY THE 2 YEAR PROTECTION PLAN for $50.
