1988-2012 40 MAN ROSTERS!!!

For all of you who were fans of my 1988-2011 25 man rosters from last year, I am going even further with it this season by doing a 40 man roster for each team. It will likely take a while to finish, but I have already finished the A's and am close to done with the Giants (just a few faces to get done). I will be using creations from the vaults as well as my own work to accomplish these rosters (big thanks to PJSnell, CSura, BigKlu and a number of others whose work I have already used and will be using in the future). If anybody has any suggestions on players I should use, or questions for me, please post them here. I will be using my Ratings Kalkulator which I updated this year, and am liking the ratings I am seeing so far.

I will post the A's and Giants (along with some other players on various teams, but nothing finished besides that) to the roster vault once I finish the Giants for my fellow Bay Area fans who would like to start a Bay Bridge Series and check out my work, and that of some other talented creators!

Kritter! You are the man brutha. My son (7 years old and loves playing the Show) and I played with your set last year and loved it. I was able to teach him about all the great players of my youth as well as today. No doubt I will DL this when your done.

oh man I can't wait to try these out. I can try to relive the 89 series where we kicked some giant butt. hopefully there is no earthquake this time. it sucked driving from candlestick to the south bay that night.

While you wait, last years set is up if SportsConnect for MLB 11 is still working, sort by % and it should be on one of the first 2 pages. 1988-2011 Final Set or Product... Enjoy!

I have posted what I will call the demo for this roster set, a rematch of the 1989 Battle of the Bay World Series between the Oakland Athletics and the San Francisco Giants. Other teams have some players on them, but the A's and Giants are complete with full 40 man rosters!!!

The title is 88-12 Bay Bridge Series Demo and it was posted on 4/9/12

I'm not going to be posting a lot of updates as I did before, simply because I know this is going to take a while, so be patient with me... ENJOY!

Kritter will these be the entire 40 man for the 1988 season for use in franchise mode?

No, they are just like the ones I did last year, a mix of players that played with their given team between the years 1988 and this year. For example, the A's pitching staff is Dave Stewart, Bob Welch and Mike Moore from the late 80's/early 90's, and Tim Hudson, Barry Zito and Mark Mulder from the early 2000's. Each team will be representative of the team's history during this era, and therefore THERE WILL BE DUPLICATE PLAYERS, for example, Roger Clemens is on the Red Sox, Yankees, Blue Jays and Astros, and Randy Johnson is on the Mariners and Diamondbacks... I hope this clears things up for you, check out the demo using the A's and Giants on SportsConnect, the post date was 4/9/2012... ENJOY

Added a new update to SC for 5/27/12, it includes complete rosters for the A's, Angels, Mariners, Rangers, Red Sox and Giants, check it out, I will post as I finish divisions, next up the AL East...

Kritter I saw an updated version of this yesterday as I was browsing the vault DL Knights 1994 set.

Are these complete for MLB 12 yet? Loved your set for MLB 11.

Not quite, 19/30 teams are complete, should finish the Rockies either tonight or tomorrow leaving 10 teams to go... Those teams are:

Rays
Tigers
Royals
Phillies
Marlins
Reds
Pirates
Brewers
Astros
Padres

Nice thing is a lot of these teams have guys that are on the other teams, or are already on the game, so they shouldn't be too hard to finish up, my plan is to get all the duplicates and guys already on the game on each roster, and then get the stats done using my calculator, I'm working on it, will keep you all posted!
