While looking at the multitude of threads discussing how to start a new franchise in MLB 12: The Show using the O.S.F.M. Spring Training rosters, I accidentally fell into a very very large rabbit hole. lol...it took me far to long to realize the above thread first started back in 2011.
So I apologize if I'm asking an oft repeated question, but will it be possible to create a base franchise save file (using the various updated O.S.F.M. rosters, pitch corrections, etc.) for MLB 12: The Show like what seems to have been done last year for MLB 11: The Show?
Last year, it seems like HustlinOwl was able to create a base franchise save file for '11 which helped cut down on a lot of the confusion created by the peculiarities of moving from Spring Training to the Regular Season (keeping starting lineups from shuffling, injured CPU players not being reassigned to the appropriate level after returning from the DL, etc.). Can this also be done in MLB 12: The Show?
*Note I'm just asking if this is technically feasible with this year's (2012) game. The old posts suggest SCEA had to patch MLB 11 to even allow this.
**Second obvious question is: if this is technically possible, is anybody planning on releasing such a file in the future?
This is the first year I've tried to follow the development of the O.S.F.M. rosters and it's truly incredible sight to behold. To the key players and countless contributors from the community, I thank you for your effort and dedication.
