Re: Small ball confirmed in NCAA 13
IDK, that ball still looks pretty big to me. Not the greatest angles to tell though. We'll see.
I didn't think they had any attention of decreasing the ball size though because they said all of their animations were tailored to fit the larger ball. Changing it would mean having to adjust a bunch of animations.Comment

Re: Small ball confirmed in NCAA 13
Where are you reading this? Because in those pictures on that website, the ball still looks huge. There is no reason this shouldn't be fixed this year. I mean damn, your making a football game. At least make the most basic part of the game right.Comment

Re: Small ball confirmed in NCAA 13
Great, I may be the cause of this speculation
. Lol. I mentioned in a comment on The Gaming Tailgate that the ball "appeared" to be smaller, but it is far from confirmed. I would not say it is confirmed at all until the devs themselves say so. It may look smaller to some, but that may be a false image we have developed in order to achieve something we want. Lol. Again, until the devs come out and say "the ball is smaller this year" then it is only speculation.

Re: Small ball confirmed in NCAA 13
Look at these two pictures. Look at the game pic. Look who the qb holds the ball. Now look at the real picture. Why can't to game look like that? In the game the qb is isn't touching the ball. It's floating. And then his hands are at the very end of the ball. No one "holds" the ball like that. Wtf.it definitely seems like the ball is smaller in this pic in 13

All pro football has perfect qb Animations. No reason EA can't. They just don't care.
I've never seen a single qb hold the ball like every single qb does in EAs NCAA.Comment

Re: Small ball confirmed in NCAA 13
I posted that picture mainly to show how relatively small the ball is compared to other things such as his hands and the number on his jersey. Now they are different angles but you can barely see the number "5" in the EA screenshot. But you're right, the ball position is not right.Look at these two pictures. Look at the game pic. Yeah and the ball might even look the right size (or more to scale) if it was positioned better in Qbs hands.I posted that picture mainly to show how relatively small the ball is compared to other things such as his hands and the number on his jersey. It just pisses me off that other football games haven't gotte. This right. Heck last gen EA games got it right. I don't understand.Comment

Re: Small ball confirmed in NCAA 13
Upon further review with the 2 pics I just took in NCAA 12. No the ball is indeed the same size. Just with different angles of when the picture is taken the ball appears smaller, when in reality it is just the angle and the position of the animation where it is stopped at.

It does look slightly smaller. It could be smaller, though.Boston Red Sox
