What does single A do in game?
Since single A doesn't play games on the show, what is its purpose in this game? Do you use it to place your straight out of high school draftees for a year, or you lowest overall players that are left over after AAA and AA are full rosters? Do people actually use it for guys comin off the DL in the game?Tags: None -
Re: What does single A do in game?
It's just 15 extra roster spots. Rather than DL a guy for example you can send him to A, ball. Put your lower rated guys while you wait for an injury or something. Basically it is 15 extra spots on your roster.Moderator

I wish there would be some BS simmed stats over the course of the season though, not important; but it would be nice to see Single-A actually doing something.MLB The Show 21 Stadium Creator

Re: What does single A do in game?
Nice topic. I would like to know what the point of the Class A players are. It seems like you can tell who is MLB material straight from the draft and the A guys end up retiring because of their lack of ability. Most all MLB guys were "A" ball guys at one time.Comment

I agree, as of now Single A is just an unfinished feature. It lessens the realism from a GM'ing perspective.Comment

Re: What does single A do in game?
If anything, I'd like to see at least a short season for the A club after the draft so new draftees can get some playing time in before spring training.
That would probably require 25 man A ball rosters + a couple spots for injury (or just turn off injur in A ball). It also would mean more than 4-5 round drafts each year too.Last edited by OSUPoke2007; 04-12-2012, 06:14 PM.Comment
