    Bring back player discipline!

I remember this was a nice feature. Who else wants this brought back?!

As long as they don't over do it. Seemed like there was more players in trouble than you had points. It always ended up putting you on probation. Seemed like every school was on it too.

I'd like to see it, too, but the NCAA put the kibosh on it. They shoot down anything that puts student athletes or the sport in a negative light.

My problem with it was that players who in real life were great students (e.g. Academic All-Conf) kept getting suspended for skipping classes and things like that. While it was a nice idea that added to the realism, I agree with the NCAA saying no more to that. It's disparaging to the kids.

I didn't know it was realistic to have 30+ teams banned from bowls. Leaving it to have 4-8 teams to be in bowl games every season.

              100% against this. UNLESS...

EA gives you the tools that are at real-life colleges to try to keep guys eligible, out of trouble, etc.

As an ex-D-I swim coach, and still a current collegiate athletic dept. employee, there just isn't enough that EA could add to the game to make this idea work.

I'm not saying guys, teams, etc., getting in trouble isn't real life. What I am saying is unless they provide tools like academic counselors (2nd duty: checking up on athletes), study hall, asst. coaches checking up on their athletes, and many, many more tools that an institution has as its disposal to try to keep their athletes eligible, then instituting probations, etc., into the game becomes an unfair random occurrence. And I know how much we all LOVE the game randomly deciding to screw you.

Give me some choices/tools to try to keep athletes from going on probation, and I'll agree with the idea. Otherwise, while you think it's "real life", it's not without the possibility of preventing it.

Probably one of my most favorite features of all time, they need player discipline now more than ever
                PSN-FORDTUFF504
                NFL- SAINTS 49ers
                NBA- HORNETS PACERS
                NCAAF- MIAMI LSU
"IM SO UPTOWN AND IF U AIN'T MOTHA#$@ DONT GO UPTOWN, YEAH"

How often can the bug be reproduced? That's a question for the developers...I'm not testing this for them...

Yes, only if your players can get tats for trading their bowl rings or if your father can get $180,000 for his "church" to ensure his kid goes to your school for a Heisman and BCSNC, allegedly.
