Who's the best Wrestler of all time
 

Now now this calls for discussion. Plenty of wrestlers has graced the rings but is there one/can there be on great wrestler?

Well I have to nominate Shawn Michaels. I'm not a fan of the WWE today, just becuase i lost interest. But back in the golden days 2005-07' 08' was were my interest was at a peak. And 90% of this was because of Shawn Michaels. Shawn has the right amount of everything. Charisma, profitability, fan favorite, and boy could the man wrestle. Most of his matches are considered top in the industry. Not to forget the legendary match with the undertaker.

I mean say what you want but Shawn Michaels has been around. He was in the 1st of a few matches and was in one of the most memorable tag teams ever in DX. I wan't to know other thoughts

CM Punk is the best in the world.
Jericho is the best in the world at what he does.
Both of those statements only apply currently. Punk beat Jericho twice so that means Punk is the best current wrestler.

HBK having been the show stopper no longer has a show to stop but is cancelled out by RVD being the whole f'n show anyway. RVD's chance is cancelled out by CM Punk currently being the best in the world as they both still currently wrestle.

Bret Hart is the best there is,best there was and the best there ever will be. Thus negating CM Punk.

The answer to "Who betta than Kanyon?" was "no one!" which may have only applied to the current moment however they both wrestled at the same time for a while there. So now we have to see if they wrestled each other. They did not. However Kanyon DID wrestle Owen Hart and lost. Bret was always considered better than Owen so that resolves that.

HOWEVER according to the record books The Ultimate Warrior was in fact the ultimate warrior having the leading all time win percentage winning 88.4354% of his matches on record. Thus making him the best wrestler ever in that sense. So now we go for Bret Hart vs. Ultimate Warrior.

Their first meeting was in the 1998 War Games. Warrior's team won however Warrior was not in the cage at the time having left to chase after Hogan and the winning fall was DDP on Stevie Ray. DDP was on Warrior's team and Stevie Ray on Bret's but we can't really count that towards anything in terms of this.

Their only other meeting was when Bret Hart & Hulk Hogan took on Warrior & Sting on a Monday Nitro. Warrior & Sting won by DQ when Big Show interfered to help out Hogan. Again resulting in something that's inconclusive.

So we go to a tie breaker.
Bret Hart held the WWE Championship for 654 days,6th all time with 5 reigns.
Warrior held it for 293 days,17th all time and only 1 reign.
Bret Hart also held many,many,many more titles overall.

Your answer is Bret Hart.
With the caveat that only 171 of Bruno Sammartino's matches are on record of which he won 73.0994%.

Going with HBK, but I didn't even think of Eddie until I saw him on the list. There was not a single match or even promo I didn't enjoy.

I loved HBK growing up but I have to go with the stylin', profilin', limousine riding, jet flying, kiss-stealing, wheelin' n' dealin' son of a gun Ric Flair.

Define "best". Best pure technical traditional wrestler? Best in-ring entertainer? Best on-the-mic entertainer? Most five-star matches as determined by some wrestling critic/critics? Best character? Most popular? Most trending Twitter hashtags? Combination of all these factors?

Using the all-of-the-above metric, I answer Shawn Michaels. My second choice is The Undertaker, though Undertaker easily is ahead of everyone else for best character in the history of wrestling.

I never watched enough of Ric Flair - who I am sure is going to be a popular answer in this topic - to have a solid opinion on him. I also admit to having watched far more WWF / WWE than any other brand of wrestling.

I love the Undertaker. 20-0. The greatest pro wrestling character ever. But the heartbreak kid, love him or hate him, Shawn Michaels is the best wrestler of all time. Enough said.
