Really confused about 25-man, 40-man rosters

So I downloaded the OSFM v3 from seanjeezy and I'm really confused about starting my franchise. First:

    1. What is the difference from 25-man and 40-man rosters. What are the pros and cons of each?

    2. How should I run my roster if I want accurate real-life rosters and transactions? Should I just control 30-teams?

    3. Why can't I injure more than like 7-8 players? It tells me that there is a limit.

    4. Lets say this player was traded in real life, how can I place that player into that team in the game. What if it doesn't allow me to trade that player?

The 25 man roster is your big league club. The other 15 on the 40 man will be in your farm system. It's basically a reserve for a team to quickly call up players based on need/injury. You will have to turn force trades ON in the beginning of your franchise in order to make trades in real life or as you see fit.

I don't use 30 team control so questions 2 and 3 I would not be able to answer.

Since TheFugMonster left 2 and 3, I'll try to answer them for you.

      2) Yes.

      3) Yes, there is a limit to the amount of players you can put out with an injury for each team.

I have a question about using the 25 man rosters like OSFMv3? If I don't use 30 team control will the CPU automatically set up their own 40 man rosters? If not at sometime during the season at least when the playoffs come?

Why is that when I play with 25-man rosters I still see more than 25 people in my roster. I didn't count 40 but there was more than 25. So what happens if I use 25-man roster instead of 40?

First of all what is this (So I downloaded the OSFM v3 from seanjeezy)?

2nd you can start a franchise and use only a 25 man roster?

My question with the 40 man is how to get the players that are in AAA off the 40 man roster going from pre-season to season? I had my 25 players set, did a few trades, put those trades to AAA, and then it stated when I went to play a game that I had 43 players on my 40 man roster. They then proceeded (since I said to just autofix) release a few players I didn't want released.

You can take players off the 40-man roster by going to Manage Roster, select player, click Edit and select Remove from 40-man roster. Instead of letting the CPU do it, do it yourself.

Also removing a player from the 40 man roster caused them to go through waivers, so that's probably what happened when you said they were released.

When using Season mode and controlling all 30 teams, going through waivers is a non-issue. The players go through the two-day waiver period and back to AAA off the 40-man roster. The triple A in Season Mode is different than in Franchise mode.
