What's your favorite commentary?
I know The Show isn't noted for having great commentary, but there are some good lines in there. My favorite one happened after I hit 3 homers in a row and it went something like "If he can hit a home run, and he can he can hit a home run, then...." I'm not sure of the rest so I'll leave it. Anyway, that commentary cracks me up, and I love it!

Re: What's your favorite commentary?
The funniest line I've heard is about a blown call to Adrian Gonzalez, where they say "those are the calls you get when you're on the cover of the game"
But in terms of actual quality lines, my favorite ones have to be when they are breaking down pitch sequence. I like hearing them analyze whatever strategy was just used, ie: going up the ladder or throwing everything below the zone... -

I don't play against Adrian Gonzalez so never heard that one, but it sure would crack me up, funny stuff! The funniest line I've heard is about a blown call to Adrian Gonzalez, where they say "those are the calls you get when you're on the cover of the game"

Yes, the analyzing is real good, though I hate to hear it when I go up the ladder, or out of the zone, or when I'm told how foolish I swung the bat. When I hear that kind of critique, I can almost see them shaking their heads like
And it makes me

Yeah I do dislike how they always criticize the batter's discipline instead of complimenting the pitch.I don't play against Adrian Gonzalez so never heard that one, but it sure would crack me up, funny stuff!

Re: What's your favorite commentary?
Small thing, but I like that it takes into account whether your player has power and prompts Vasgergian to say, "This guy can walk into one..." Now, he might just say that randomly, but i was batting recently with a young player I was still getting to know and that was said and I paused and looked and realized, yeah, he does have a little power... so I swung for the fences and struck out. Thanks, Matt.Comment

I hit 4 HR in the first four innings against I believe Marquis (sp?) of the Twins and one of them says, "This pitcher is the gift that keeps on giving."Comment

Anything that doesn't have Dave Campbell, and I'm happy.
My favorite line would be from Eric, going overboard and acting a bit too energetic as usual: "I think -- yes, that is the first ball they've taken the *entire game*!" He says that when a team hasn't taken a ball up until the 3rd inning or something like that. It cracks me up every time.Mariners - Cubs: 2012 World Series

That's a good one. Sometimes their comments get me laughing so hard I have to pause the game. They have some real funny lines in there.Comment

Re: What's your favorite commentary?
I don't know if it's a psych me out or an actual game mechanic, but when they mention a guy's hitting streak or "this guy is really scuffling as of late" I usually give up a solid single.Comment

Re: What's your favorite commentary?
I am still hearing new things all the time , but one that stuck out and made me laugh was when I dove for a ball into the wall. Matt says " That's a good way to injure a rib" then he does a funny voice and says " How much for one of dem ribs" I think he was trying to sound like Craigs Father from the movie Friday. Was really funny. Most other funny ones are from the lone fan. I really like the single voice that tries to get a chant started. I play as the Dodgers and one dude is always all alone trying to start a Beat LA chant. He starts slow and quiet and gets really exited by the time he stops with his voice starting to crack. Pretty hillarious.Comment
