Terrence Williams is a beast!
I just realized this when I was playling my kings association. I decided to start Terrence after my starting sf got injured and oh god is he good. He can shoot, dunk, defend, drive to the hoop and rebound. I just let williams guard the best player on the other side and he just locks them down good. You can put him at sg, or even at pf as his post d is good too. He manages to get a foul or an and-1 almost every time he drives to the rim and his corner 3 is money. Not to mention the guy has some serious hops. Just wanted to give a heads up on people starting an association. Seriously, GET THIS GUY

Re: Terrence Williams is a beast!
He's the most overrated player in the game for sure. It pisses me off when he drops 30 on me and idk if he's even on a team in real life lol. I remember seeing he was waived from the Rockets this year, smh. It's like a bootleg Lebron. Dunking all over me, shooting 3's in my face, i hate when CPU kills me with him!My NBA 2k Blog and VideosComment

Re: Terrence Williams is a beast!
LOL, finally somebody is giving Terrence Williams some love. I always mention him in the threads where people are asking who our favorite non-stars are...but nobody ever mentions him.
I've been picking him up in my franchise teams since 2k10. He's so easy to play with. He's fast, has good quickness, decent on ball defense (used to be a lot better defensively in 2k10 and 2k11), can drive to the basket with the best of em', can rebound surprisingly well thanks to hit high vertical. His jumper is decent, though it can be inconsistent at times. But i used drills to improve his shooting ratings. He starts at shooting guard for me...i personally feel like its best with his 6'6'' height...so he matches up best with other shooting guards. But when I bring in my sixth man, i'll move him to small forward, where he can keep up with and disrupt the taller small forwards.
He's basically my main scorer and playmaker. I like to compare him to Andre Iguodala, because he plays a role for me where he not only scores (i know, Iguodala isnt the most quality scorer, haha), but makes plays for the rest of the team by passing it around. I got the MVP with him in my first season of my association averaging 29ppg, 8assts, 5rebs, 1.5 steals, 1 block, 41% from three, 87% from the free throw line. now he's an 82 overall for me in my second season...
For all you that need a guy like this in your franchise for cheap, he's now a member of the KingsComment

Re: Terrence Williams is a beast!
Yea. The big thing that sets him apart from any other athletic perimeter guy like J.R. Smith is that he can be a creator. I always have him as like a super 6th man because I always end up creating super stacked teams in my associations, but I can definitely play with T-Will and have him get MVP numbers.Comment

Wow.. I know he is a great player but league MVP? Thats pretty cool. What difficulty/sliders do you play on?LOL, finally somebody is giving Terrence Williams some love. I always mention him in the threads where people are asking who our favorite non-stars are...but nobody ever mentions him.

Re: Terrence Williams is a beast!
Are there any other guys you like to play with, who aren't superstars IRL but are really good in the game?Comment

Re: Terrence Williams is a beast!
Yeah, T-Will is a boss, I've used him since 2k10 when he was drafted, I always start him at SG and he just kills it, I get his shooting up with Drills and he's unstoppable when he's hot, dunking over everyone and getting to the line, if you use him right, he's a perennial All Star, and a top prospect in the league.Comment

Re: Terrence Williams is a beast!
Tristan Thompson is pretty good. He crashes the offensive boards and can finish inside too. He's only 20 years old so he can develop a lot.Comment

Re: Terrence Williams is a beast!
I find Thompson difficult to play with, doesn't make easy lay ups.
Already found the thread with the "favorite non-superstars". Thanks though!

Re: Terrence Williams is a beast!
I play on All-star, but I can't remember exactly where I got the slider settings from, but they were really minor adjustments if i remember correctly.
I know I know...playing on all-star doesnt make it sound good, but I just like to have fun when it comes to playing cpu, lol. Didnt buy the game to be pissed off at hall of fame cheating all the time. Regardless, cpu still gives me a hard time on All-Star. Got waxed by the Heat and Bulls in back to back games last night for my first two losses of my second season. I only really play on Hall of Fame when I play against friends and other human opponents.Comment
