i play on real fg% so im not sure if it is something to do with this or not....

but when i take a jump shot, a quick white flash will appear which seems to indicate a 'sweet spot' maybe?

That's when you should release the ball but since you play with real % it shoudln't matter. And it's kind of innacurate anyway.

yea it is the release timing for a shot, i feel like you aren't supposed to time it as it flashes though but right after that moment. or maybe thats just my weird way of timing it

Yeah, I believe it is right after that flash is when it makes it the most for me. I only look at that when I can't get someone's release normally. It does get distracting though, lol.

it doesnt shot when to release. only when the feet leave the ground does it flash

my problem is why are they putting " hand holding " mechanic in 2k12? will this be a growing trend to lower the complexity of the game?

My VIP shows my releases late 80% of the time for HOF Simulation games.

pointing out faults and and offering ways to fix them is considered bashing by this forum community while other forums agree with me. This is becoming just as bad as the 2k.com forum. My question is why would they put a mechanic that gives away shot releases in the game hense taking away the need for practice mode. 2k wasnt built to hold players hands while playing and they dont need to start now. This game has so many issues that many of you guys just ignore for some reason and claim its almost a perfect game. Jordans one handed pumpfake isnt even in the game and he is on the cover!! paul pierce sig 3pt shot was in 2k11 but its gone from 2k12! Simple things like this are why 2k12 isnt what the "sim" community make it out to be. When i cant play online associaition without games dropping in the 2nd quarter its a problem, when the game lags offline in practice mode its a problem. when cp3 turns into hakeem the dream in the paint and layups over gasol and bynum multiple times its a problem. 2k11 wasnt perfect but had ALOT less issues than this game.

I understand that, trust me I edited rosters and KNOW how crazy this game can be at times. But at the same time people come here to DISCUSS the game not to whine and ***** all the time. I personally come on here because of the GREAT community and the great discussions and debates we can have on here. But at the same time OS is not to complain and whine all the time, that's NOT the meaning of constructive criticism. Its not the game its more an OS issue.
