I wouldn't be surprised if he was still decent. If he's willing to play for a low salary, a team like the Blue Jackets should be interested.

He's not. The end of his time in Detroit was the end of the road for him. He was a complete liability in goal. His reflexes are gone. Go watch highlights from the 2007 playoffs and the 2008 first round vs. Nashville. Look how many mid-to-long distance goals he gives up because his reaction times are just completely gone.

Not to pick on Hasek he brought us a Stanley Cup here in Detroit but also was replaced by Chris Osgood in the playoffs and then Chris Osgood won the next one. but anyway stick a fork in Hasek he's done. Put it this way my Marine Corps dress Blues fit 20 years later oh wait a minute the only thing that fits is my gloves lol. It all catches up to us sooner or later in this case soon is coming.

He could be on his own team with Forsberg, Selanne, Chelios and all the other elderly NHL retirees who think they should still play. Oh, Jagr too.

Jagr was pretty invisible last quarter of the season and all of the playoffs. I'm glad the Flyers didn't bring him back honestly. Give that spot to someone who can play a full 82 + eat minutes in the postseason when the going gets tough.

I think he will do better this year. He was getting used to playing in the NHL again. It was the same with Hudler, he was garbage his first year back, but he put it together last year and got paid.

Selanne is a beast. Apparently, 10 years ago, Lidstrom and him found the fountain of youth in a hidden location in Scandinavia.
