Re: CFL Game
I love the CFL. I prefer the NFL (the extra down changes the game so much!), but I still watch the CFL a lot and root for...well, it's obvious.
The only problem is that there are only 8 teams. Reminds me of Lakers vs Celtics, ha! But it would be great! I'd love it if 2K created a CFL game.My Specs:
ZX Spectrum
CPU: Z80 @ 3.5 MHz
GPU: Monochrome display
RAM: 48 KB
OS: Sinclair BASIC -

I'm probably one of few here that would rather have a CFL game over an arena game. I like the idea of the longer, wider field with deeper end zones. Also, I like that you only have 3 downs to work with.
It's really a niche market, but I'd most definitely buy a CFL game.

Re: CFL Game
Unless the gameplay would be good (as in better then madden or ncaa) i wouldn't buy it. I would prefer cfl over arena. Somehow arena doesn't do anything for me.I'm probably one of few here that would rather have a CFL game over an arena game. I like the idea of the longer, wider field with deeper end zones. Re: CFL Game
CFL game might get like 100,000 people or something buying it, so that'd be like 5M in revenue.
If anyone even made CFL teams for Madden I'd play with them.
I still wish Madden had CFL addition to it. Like how NHL has euro leagues and stuff in the game. Sure, CFL rules are diff than NFL rules, and field is diff too. But so is euro league hockey games. Rink sizes are diff, some leagues have 2 line passing(I believe), and no touch icing and all that, and it's in the NHL video game.
Even UFC video game had 2 diff "leagues". UFC and PRIDE. Anyone who watches MMA would know just how diff Pride was compared to UFC.
Or if a CFL specified game were to come out, I can imagine it being an PS Store/XBox live store(or whatever it's called) game for like $15 or something. That way it'd be cheaper to make(since they don't need to have discs and shipping and all that, and people can't buy a used copy).
What does a CFL video game really need? Other than football gameplay? Do they really need a franchise mode, or a career mode or anything? At least for the first one that comes out. I'd even be happy with just an exhibition mode(and maybe a playoff mode for grey cup).Last edited by Majingir; 11-24-2012, 11:04 PM.Comment

Re: CFL Game
If it was a downloadable title for $15 like NFL Blitz (obviously not the same game style, but the same way of selling it) then I would buy it. But I wouldn't pay $60 for it.Comment
