Possible USFL game?

with the new usfl season coming up soon next year.....will it be possible for a usfl-licensed game could get made? 2k? if not, they will be associated with the nfl, so maybe madden will include these teams since it will be sort of a minor league for the nfl.

I think at this point that a game featuring the Old USFL is more likely.

I don't think non-NFL professional football leagues are worth spending license money on, none will attract enough customers to warrant it, and could even exclude those who ignore the less popular leagues to begin with.

I know I'm in the vast minority here, but I'd likely try it out. New USFL or old (I'm a collector of the old). I know someone did a Madden version of the old at some point- I saw some screenshots.

i'm with you....i loved the usfl. just any kind of alternative to madden would be nice.

I still think it's 50-50 that the league actually gets formed.

Saw this thread then headed over to wikipedia to figure out what you were talking about thinking that you surely weren't talking about a making a game for a league that has been dead for 25 years. According to the wikipedia article this "revived" USFL will be a true minor league for the NFL. If that is the case, and this thing happens then perhaps EA will simply add that league into Madden . Users could then assign young players needing experience to the USFL teams for the spring season or undrafted rookies would go there.

yes....this is what i was talking about....even so, i think it would make a nice addition to madden.

I think 2ksports should definitely consider making game about USFL and add some teams from defunct XFL and UFL.. Anybody would love play game features players like Walker, Young, Jim Kelly, Reggie White, Carthon and others that played in old USFL.. Heck, I love have the chance play with Tampa Bay Bandits...
