Players that have your # (and vice versa)

David *Mother Flippin* Wright. It never fails, I either walk him or he hits, at a minimum, a double. I can not get this dude out.

On the flip side, I was playing my rtts, with the ,gag, Blue Jays, lol, and I straight owned the Red Sox pitchers. Beckett and Lester specifically. I was killing it at Fenway especially. I loved road games at the Sox.

In my franchise with the Astros im in a series with the brewers (2 games played out of 3). Ryan Braun is 6-7 with an IBB. First game 3-3 with 3 singles and the walk, second game 3-4 with 2 singles and a HR. So at least they are mostly singles I guess.

Curtis granderson I have just decided to walk him because if I throw a pitch in the strike zone he takes it out every time.

Cano. Every time I play the Yankees, he is always involved with driving in runs or hitting home runs. I'm close to just walking him everytime he gets up to bat.

For me, its Cano's defense. Nothing gets up the middle or past the right side gap. He grabs everything and comes up slinging. Lol.

For me its Josh Hamilton. As the Rays, I just lost to the Rangers in the ALCS 4-1. Hamilton was 13-17 with 3 HR, 12RBI's and 4 doubles. I would walk him, but Adrian Beltre had my number too, along with Napoli, Kinsler, Andrus, and Cruz. Every pitch in the strike zone was hit hard. I knew the series was over when Hamilton pulled a low and away curveball for a HR in game 4. Oh well, maybe next year

Uhh I almost hate to say this but Eric Bedard. Something about that delivery and then that damn curve of his gets me every time. I actually counted last time and he threw it 50+ times lol and I don't think I hit one well all game.

As far as players I own it used to be Johan back when he was with the Twins, something about that change I just don't miss.

Clint Barmes and Jamey Carroll. I have no idea why but they always seem to go 3-4 or 4-5 against me. And usually they will hit at least one home run. It makes no sense because they aren't great hitter in real life, but they kill me.

EDIT: Daisuke came in for an injured Beckett in my season opener today and shut me down. Was pretty ugly. Jacoby Ellsbury always does well against me as well.

I know what you mean! I hate to say this, but I always have a hard time against Vargas. Jason Vargas that is! He just pitches so slow!

Guys who own me when I'm hitting:

Tim Lincecum - Owns me hard. I wish I could ask for a day off in RTTS when I face him. Never once hit him, never going to hit him ever.

Colby Lewis - I destroy his fastball... but he only throws it once an at bat and his offspeed stuff destroys me.

Guys I own when I'm hitting:

Ian Kennedy - I light him up like he's throwing BP. I've homered a handful of times, both in RTTS and franchise and just kill him.

Zack Greinke - Don't know why, he's got great stuff but I crush him. And it is surprising because I NEVER hit in Milwaukee.

Guys who own me when I'm pitching:

Carlos Santana - Don't even pitch to him any more. Cannot figure him out. Even when I get 0-2 and try and get him to chase, he crushes or walks.

Jay Bruce - I'm guessing here but I'm pretty sure he is 8 of 10 with 7 homers off of me. He owns my soul.

Guys I own when I'm pitching:

David Wright - I absolutely own him like you wouldn't believe. It took him 15 at bats before he even got a ball out of the infield. Struck him out 4 times in a row to open. I think I've faced him about 40 times in RTTS and he maybe has 5 hits.

Denard Span - Have struck him out every at-bat in RTTS. Every single one. 3 games.

Somehow I can kill Verlander; had a playoff series against the Tigers in which I knocked Verlander out in the 4th inning of game 1, and the 5th of game 4, and each time they brought in Carlos Zambrano--why did I let that trade go through?--and he shut me down for the rest of the game, letting them catch up and make it close in one and beat me in the other.

As far as hitters, I am beloved by right handed marginal hitting catchers with a little pop; I think half the homers I've given up have been to guys like Yadier, Soto, David Ross. Carlos Ruiz in particular always seems to hit bombs off of me, at least 3 I can remember over different game modes. Beltran absolutely kills me; I often trade for him not so much because I like him but because I don't want to pitch against him! On the other side, I think I've struck out poor Ryan Zimmerman about 20 times, with all kinds of different pitchers.

Oh, one other thing I've noticed is that I hit sinker ball pitchers (Tim Hudson, Charlie Morton) pretty well; if I'm looking low, it seems easier to adjust to the high pitch (esp. if they don't have a dominant fastball of some kind as a secondary pitch) than it does the other way around, facing a guy with a FB primary and a sinker/splitter secondary. If I'm looking high, that low pitch kills me, but switch it and I'm good. Just had a game against Hudson in which I scored 4 in the 1st, then 2 more in the 4th to knock him out.

Chris Sale flat out dominated me the other night. He was dealing upwards of 98mph with nasty offspeed pitches.

With his stuff in this game, I'd be stunned if I was the only one. Flat out filthy.

I always tend to do good against him in my RTTS. I'm on the twins, so I play him a lot, but I seem to crush him. I think it's because he throws a lot of fastballs. If you throw me a fastball, I can hit it! Did I mention my player is maxed out though?
