First, this thread is unnecessary...there is already a thread discussing team ratings.

We have no history, no quality wins, and have been the worst BCS team the past 5 years. Honestly what do you expect?

Sorry but just hiring a big name coach doesnt mean that your team is better. Why dont you wait till the season to see how they perform rather then whine before the season when Leach hasnt even coached a game yet.

Also, just missing out on being bowl eligible isnt a good reason either to raise a teams prestige. Regardless if you went winless or just missed out by one game, you were still not bowl eligible.

No default ratings/prestige will matter this year since ratings can be changed, and Prestige, etc. is dynamic.

I don't think a 5-Win season in a mediocre PAC-12 would bump you up. The real question is why is Duke 2*? Love the Devils, but they're bad.

We had 4 wins, not 5.

Three of those came against Idaho State, UNLV and Colorado. We should not be anything higher than a 1 star.
