Rebuilding the Charlotte Bobcats
Rosters: Ultimate Trifecta
Draft Classes: Trifecta 2012 V2 Sliders: Ultimate Trifecta Level: All-Star 9 Minute quarters Game Speed: 40 Player Speed: 15 Real FG%, Real FT% The time has come to rebuild the Bobcats. I decided to go with a Youth Movement with long athletic Players. Michael Beasley is who I am depending on to lead the team in scoring. My goal is to let the Young guys play THIS season and see who is worth keeping before making anymore moves. I know we will struggle the 1st couple months but I think we have a shot at the 7th or 8th Seed in the East for 2012 Playoffs. I am going to list below the Transaction I made for the Bobcats, as well as the Free Agent Signings I made for the Rest of the League. Bobcats Waived: Matt Carroll, Edwardo Najera Signed: Kyle Singler- Rookie SF from Duke Traded: Corey Maggette to Kings for Donte Greene, Hassan Whiteside Traded: Tyrus Thomas, D.J.White to Timberwolves for Anthony Randolph, Wayne Ellington, Michael Beasley NBA Signings Celtics: Jeff Green Suns: Chris Douglas-Roberts, Greg Oden Cavs: Andrei Kirilenko, Aaron Brooks Heat: Antonio McDyess Wizards: Brandon Roy My Rotation Augustin-30, Henderson-30, Beasley-35, Randolph-25, Biyombo-25, Walker-23, Greene-15, R.Williams-14, Ellington-14, Mullens-15, Singler-9, Whiteside-5 |
Re: Rebuilding the Charlotte Bobcats
Well 1st game of the NEW Bobcats had its ups and downs. We held a 39-37 lead over the Bobcats at Halftime. The Magic slowly pulled away in the 2nd half with Balanced scoring pulling out a 90-82 Victory. Beasley led the Bobcats with 21pts BUT I was most impressed with Anthony Randolph's All-around performance of 11pts 7rb 3ast 2st 2blk. Jameer Nelson led the Magic with 18pts and Howard chipped in 15pts despite Foul Trouble.
This team has a TON of athletes but FEW true basketball players at this time. It is going to take patience but I believe we could have something special once everyone gets used to playing together. Hustle is going to be the key to this season. Our goal as of now is the 8th Seed in the Eastern Conference. I KNOW that is a LOFTY goal but that is why it is a GOAL. Beasley 21pts 7rb 2ast 1st 2blk 3TO 29 min Augustin 12pts 2rb 5ast 3st 6TO 26 min Mullens 11pts 8rb 1ast 1st 1blk 3TO 14 min Randolph 11pts 7rb 3ast 2st 2blk 22 min Walker 10pts 1rb 2ast 13 min Greene 7pts 1st 7 min Biyombo 4pts 5rb 1ast 2blk 20 min Henderson 3pts 4rb 2ast 1st 2blk 3TO 25 min Williams 2pts 1rb 1ast 1TO 12 min Ellington 1pt 10 min Whiteside 1 TO 3 min Singler 1rb 4min |
Re: Rebuilding the Charlotte Bobcats
Game 2 in the books vs the Milwaukee Bucks, resulting in a 110-98 LOSS. The 2nd Quarter was the difference in the game as Milwaukee outscored us by 14pts. We played them even the rest of the Game. Monta Ellis and Brandon Jennings carved us up. Ellis had 22pts 6rb 14ast 3st and Jennings had 31pts 5rb 7ast 4st. Ellis's penetration int he lane was Unstoppable. When we collapsed on him he found the Open man. The youth REALLY showed this game on the Defensive end, PLUS we had some untimely Turnovers. Kemba Walker had a Good game for us and Beasley once again led the team in scoring. Byron Mullens has a Lackluster game. Mullens and Biyombo BOTH have to step up their games as does Gerald Henderson. There may be some Rotation changes for the next game against the Grizzlies.

Re: Rebuilding the Charlotte Bobcats
Shocking UPSET. The Bobcats beat the Boston Celtics 85-81. It was a back and forth game but the Bobcats pulled out a narrow victory thanks to Paul Pierce's Foul Trouble and Ray Allen cold shooting in the 2nd Half. :waytogo: The Celtics made a run in the Final 2 minutes as Allen hit Two 3's and Pierce hit 1, but Michael Beasley hit a clutch mid range jumper and then Biyombo pulled down a Pierce miss to Secure the win. Biyombo had a BREAKOUT game with 11rbs, hopefully he continues it.

Re: Rebuilding the Charlotte Bobcats
These Bobcats are Really starting to play together. After getting Literally RAN off the court in the 1st quarter down 29-14, the YOUNG Bobcats Regrouped and slowly pulled away in the 4th quarter for a 93-86 Victory over the Jazz. I think the Key to this team is the Balanced Scoring, as we had 5 Players in Double figures and 1 Player with 9pts. Also our length with Biyombo, Randolph,Greene,Mullens and Beasley is altering ALOT of shots. Devin Harris led the Jazz with 20pts. Bismack Biyombo CONTINUES to improve each game as he tied for team scoring lead with 13pts, getting them by running the court and on the Offensive Boards.
B.Biyombo 13pts 5rb 1ast 1 blk 24min M.Beasley 13pts 8rb 30min K.Walker 13pts 3rb 5ast 1st 22min G.Henderson 11pts 3rb 2ast 4st 1TO D.Augustin 10pts 3ast 1st 2TO 18min B.Mullens 9pts 7rb 1blk 11min D.Greene 6pts 1rb 1ast 1st 6min R.Williams 6pts 2rb 1ast 1st 1blk 12min W.Ellington 5pts 1rb 1ast 7min A.Randolph 4pts 5rb 2st 4TO 21min K.Singler 3pts 1rb 7min H.Whiteside 0pts 1min |
