Load Time?
 

To anyone who has played 13, can you tell me if the game still has the insanely long load time at the very beginning? I have to start the game 30 minutes before I actually want to play currently, and I'm hoping that it's not going to be the case with 13.

Something must be wrong with your system if it takes 30 minutes to load. The demo doesn't take as long as 12 though.

Are you exaggerating when you say 30 minutes? I can time it when I get home but I'll guarantee it takes less than 5 for me.

Now if they improve sim times between weeks in dynasty...

Looking at the dynasty video posted a little while back it looks like it takes about 10 years to progress through a week.

Sim a week - take a shower, do laundry, go get something to eat, - simming finished.

Of course I was exaggerating, but it is usually 5 minutes, which is just stupid long. Especially when all I want to do is load right into my OD.

As for simming between weeks, I found that it's MUCH quicker to sim online. And never a transfer fail to be had.

Initial load times and menu load times of this game are my biggest pet peeve. It takes forever to initially start the game, it takes forever to load certain files, it takes forever to load custom playbooks, it takes longer than forever to do formation subs. Really hoping these things got fixed along with menu leg.

I probably spend more time waiting for menus and files to load than actually playing.
