My friend says that he's about to buy madden 13 off of this girl in the next neighborhood that got it early in some football game. She provided a picture with it that seems legit. Do you guys think this is a scam or should he go through with it? He has to go meet up with her with $100 and I don't want him to get jumped does this sound real?

Does he know the person he is buying it from and if so how well? If it is a friend of his she probably isn't lying to him. If this is someone he barely knows or doesn't know at all he's probably being fooled.

How did the picture seem legit? Was a photo of the actual game disc provided or was it just the case the game comes in? If it was the actual disc it might be real, but if it was just the case I'd be skeptical. Those aren't difficult to fake.

This is very sketchy. Madden hasn't gone gold yet. The developers are still tuning the game. I thought that it was well-known that the game is tuned the entire month of June through maybe mid July. Considering the delayed release this year, it may be tuned even longer.

Ok, playing the new build feels a lot better. I don’t see arms loose like in the build earlier. This is what I like. I like when the guys give feedback and the devs go back upstairs, tweak some stuff and then push out a new build. Victor Lugo also came down last night and showed some of the new guys how to tweak it themselves. There is a massive debug menu that we can control different aspects of the game. It’s like “Super Sliders”! We are able to change stuff like the tension of the players, the stumble/fall aspects, and adjust a lot of things. We are mostly messing with the stumble thresholds, fall thresholds, balance radius, etc …

This is someone mentioning different builds of the game, which shows that the game isn't finished yet.

Whatever game the girl says that she have, is NOT Madden 13.

yea its probly a fake cover somebody made up of madden 13 but is really madden 12 disc inside.

The game is still being tuned and worked on. Discs are not even printed.
