Re: NHL 13 Early Release Season Ticket: Sept.7th

How about this... I subscribed to ST on 9/9/11, the first day of NHL12 early release. With my subscription expiring on 9/9/12, I assume I get a double-dip on NHL, at least for two days. I also assume I won't be able to access the early download on 9/9, but I guess there's a chance.

I'm most likely going to renew it anyway with FIFA coming out a few weeks later and the chance to preview the other games I don't plan on buying. It will be nice to have it for Madden this year. And I'm not sure what everyone's experience during season ticket was like, but for our OTP team it was best stretch of games all year. Default (or close to it) build ratings and no boosts makes for a very different game.

If I knew Fight Night Champion 2 and Elite were available with this, I'd jump in.

I think I signed up either right around TW12 or Madden 12. Will prolly have to renew prior to NHL 13's release.

Just an FYI for folks. If you already have Season Ticket, at least on the PS3 it sets to auto renew, if you don't have funds in your wallet it just charges your CC. (There are settings to prevent that from happening if one desires)

Not sure if it's the same on the 360, I'd imagine it is.

No prob, I was curious on when my sub was up so I did a search on the PSN store and the only options I had for it was to either rate it or suggest to a friend or whatever that option was, so I read the fine print in the product description. Hope that helps anyone who had questions.

I was going to renew anyway since getting the full version 3 days early is a great thing. I already have the SC edition preordered anyway heh.

Figure if nothing else I'll give Madden a shot this year as well with the season ticket.

Do you get a hard copy of the game when the 3 day early access ends? And can you get the Stanley Cup edition with early access?

You still need to purchase a retail copy. No it's just the normal version sans additional codes as far as I know.

You have to buy the hard copy in store when it is released. The early access downloaded game will not work anymore.

Hmmm I might be interested in this. Just checked it out and it doesn't seem like a bad deal. I have a wedding to go to on the 8th so I need to weigh my options. Might still be worth it, even if its for Madden and FIFA.

Wait... what? If you have Season Ticket you get to have OTP without boosts...? Did I read that right?

Getting to play the full version of NHL 3 days early and test drive Tiger and Madden was worth it for me. One's millage may vary however.

For me, Season Ticket is totally worth, especially with how suspect EA Sports games have become lately and the fact that demos just don't cut it for me. It's nice to know what the full game is like before I go drop or not drop $60.

I was considering getting Season Ticket for NCAA (which I probably should have), but I'm pretty sure I'm gonna jump on it for NHL and Madden. Not only because I'm anxious to play them but for the reasons savoie listed as well.
