Re: Summer League
Was Summer League completely removed from 2K12? I think, if expanded upon (featuring official Summer Tourneys (Vegas, Rocky Mountain Revue, etc.), Summer League could be a pretty excellent and potent feature.
Further, somewhat tying in, I think a productive Summer League (going beyond just making it feel like repetitive generic ball with the same crowd noise sample after each score) would also benefit 2K12's D-League. Fully editable D-League rosters combined with the editable Draft Classes could lead to Summer Leagues full of real-life college standouts and NBA hopefuls not making the cut and instead having to earn their keep in the minors. I think this would be yet another great wrinkle to Association. -
Re: Summer League
I would welcome a summer league, particularly if the gameplay changed a bit (to represent the fast-paced play and sloppy fundamentals we see during these games). Then you could have the option to have to choose who you want to make the season roster and who to let go.Comment

Re: Summer League
Summer League would be great for unsigned rookies and free agents teams are looking at (not key guys of course). Would make the offseason interesting and would make editing D-League teams more exciting. The Buzz is Back in the Queen City. Cho........I have no idea what you are going to do in this draft man.Comment

Re: Summer League
In addition to a summer league, it would be great to have a Rucker Park game or two in the summer like the Alcindor and Chamberlain would do in the 60's and 70's***1971-72 ABA Roster 2K12 360***

Re: Summer League
I'm watching Summer League as a we speak and I have to reiterate, I think it'd be a great addition to 2K if done correctly. The issue I had with 2K's previous iterations of Summer League and D-League is the relative low number of connective ties to our Associations or My Player. If we were able to edit our own minor leaguers or undrafted prospects, everything would have a lot more meaning. Further, if we had the ability to choose who we wanted to appear in the Summer League, even better.Last edited by VDusen04; 07-12-2012, 10:39 AM.Comment

Re: Summer League
I agree. It'd be great for association as users would be able to reevaluate players which may have under performed for theirs or other teams--i.e. Adam Morrison this year.
Also it'd be a nice change of pace for when the user has grown bored with Association, the Sumer league games would be a welcomed change of pace as would the ability to play in a game at the Rucker with the star player of the user's franchise. Also this would be an opportunity to 'scout' streetballers, and invite them to the 'summer league'.***1971-72 ABA Roster 2K12 360***
