This is why I love competition. Amazon will generally match these prices and you get day of shipping. They're not matching Madden...yet...but you do get a $15 promotion credit. If you don't care about getting your game at midnight or having Tim Tebow, you can save money thx to toys r us.

I just preordered NHL 13 at Best Buy for the Canada Day sale. 10% off + 800 points ($10) reward value.

It's more or less the same amount of $$ discounted off so I would have preordered it at Amazon so i wouldn't be restricted with the $10.

Newegg has done the match for ncaa/madden already so i guess they will do the same for nhl. But for newegg i think u need the promo code. I not sure if toysrus will stay at this price it all depends.

Any idea what kind of shipping comes with it? Would it be at my door on release day or does it just ship on release day (if sp, what is expected delivery days)? I have never ordered games from Toysrus so just curious. Also, can the order be canceled?

Madden gives you $15 towards another game (Amazon), so I'm waiting for that to ship next month and then I'll put that towards NHL 13, which would make NHL $30.

Anyone who preordered from TRU, did it bill you now or is it like amazon where it does it when it ships?

That's one of my favorite things about ordering through amazon, really don't want to buy the game right now but I do like the fact its only $45 from TRU, hoping Amazon will match or give a credit at least like they did with Madden.

The free shipping that Toys R Us offers usually takes a week to arrive.
